we wished we had time to stay long . its is a beautiful place . The owners are lovely and when we asked for places to eat for dinner and shops they lead us in the right direction
Lovely clean comfortable property. Host had lit fire before our arrival, and kitchen stocked with delicious snacks. Could not have felt more welcome, nor asked for anything else for our overnight stay. Excellent service.
My daughter and I had the best experience staying in the Barn House. It was cozy, comfortable and clean.
It had everything we possibly wanted.
The host was always a text away if we needed anything.
We would definitely recommend anyone stay here.
It is the perfect little getaway cottage in My opinion, so cosy, so much charm in a small package, just what we were looking for.
Thanks to our amazing hosts Joy and Leigh, you made our short stay that much better.
I will be back.
Surprised my partner with a night away, to get out of town and change of scenery. Inside the barn is nice and cozy with a decking area outside that is very peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
We stayed with a couple of friends for the night after our Daughter's wedding and couldn't have been happier. Joy and Leigh are lovely people to deal with, and their spotless quirky little Barn had everything we needed. We all loved it, most impressed!!
Personal greeting on arrival with owners living nearby ready to be friendly neighbours. Accommodation was as described only better, lots of character and a great wood fire for us to enjoy. Many indulgent treats included and supplies were even topped up. We look forward to staying again in ‘the barn’
Joy’s Barn such a pleasant stay. It was an amazing find and was stocked with anything you could possibly need. Joy and Leigh’s hospitality exceeded all expectations, with a fire crackling and nice snacks awaiting our arrival. Checkin instructions were clear, and Leigh was ready and waiting as soon as our car pulled in. The bed was comfy and warm with electric blankets too (just in case). This truly felt like a home away from home for our short stay.
Gorgeous little barn conversion, rustic with all the mod cons.
Surrounded by trees and the birds kept us company all weekend.
Sitting by the cosy fire, the night just melted away.
Our host provided lovely breakfast provisions which helped kick start the day of exploring. The communication was second to none and I couldn't recommended them highly enough.
The Host Joy made us most welcome and had left nothing wanting. Many extras and home made treat was waiting for us, along with the wood fire burning. Enjoyed seeing beautiful sunrises on the deck with my morning cuppa and listening to the many birds with their morning calls. We look forward to returning. Thank you Joy ☺️
What can I say about our hosts, Joy and Leigh? Two absolutely lovely people who took exceptional care of their guests. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was fantastic. The barn was comfortable and homely in a quiet, semi rural area. We highly recommend their property and would definitely stay with them again. Thank you Joy and Leigh.
The pictures for this place does not do justice. This is a 6 star place & the hostess, Joy & her husband Leigh couldn’t be any nicer. Everything & I mean everything is at your fingertips. You will not want for anything. Anything that you want to know or need, they are there to help you out. We will be back very soon so Joy & I can have out tea!
As a former resident of Bacchus Marsh, finding somewhere within the town to stay for a family function was important.
When I found "The Barn" I knew without a doubt it would be the perfect place, we were not disappointed. Joy and Leigh made our stay comfortable and cozy. We were greeted by the warmth of the burning wood stove when we arrived on a chilly Spring afternoon. We questioned if we should ditch the function and stay in with a bottle of wine and cook a meal as all the facilities were there, including a washing machine if we had required a multi day stay.
We enjoyed a breakfast of juice, tea, coffee, toast and cereal all provided as part of the booking.
We look forward to staying at "The Barn" again in the future and would highly recommend it to all of out family and friends.
Thank you for having us.
