This outstanding custom home sits on a high ridge over the Pacific in the exclusive, gated South Beach neighborhood of Neskowin. That brings you stellar views of the sandy Neskowin beach, iconic Proposal Rock and the north coast down a rugged, tree-studded cliff to the sea. The home is in great condition with a nice retro feel of the original 80s appointments. The outside deck is phenomenal, amazing views from the deck and hot tub. Wood burning fireplace was a great touch for the cool evenings. Would definitely stay again! Short walk to beach access, and only 15 minutes to Lincoln City.

Weekend on the coast

Fantastic stay in a beautiful property. The home waa amazing with many amenities. The location and view were stunning. The check in process and Communication were flawless. It was a special place for a family get together and we couldn't have been happier!

The place was great! Fantastic views, pantry was stocked, place was pretty clean. I wrote the host at 9am the day of check in asking if they could accommodate an early check in (4pm but asked for 2pm). They didn’t respond until 2:30pm saying it wasn’t possible. Besides that and Meredith being big corporate, we would stay again!

Relaxing getaway

This spot was all we needed for an extremely relaxing vacation. You can hear the waves crashing on the cliffs below while soaking in the hot tub. The beds were all extremely comfortable and clean. We will definitely book here again!

A wonderful surprise

We picked this place for the view and it did not disappoint. An additional bonus was that the location served as a prime spot to be able to see a lot of the coast as day trips and even some vineyards in Willamette Valley. Neskowin beach was very cool and calming. The constant roar of the ocean was the perfect white noise for sleeping. We all wanted to come back with our significant others because the house/locatjon were so great.

AMAZING VIEWS!!!

Our stay at Neskowin Lookout was nothing short of amazing! The views are fantastic, comfy beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, great hot tub to relax sore muscles after sight seeing, comfortable seating. The weather was cold and rainy but didn't keep us from enjoying everything. We were fortunate enough to be there to experience the King tides down at Depot Bay -- what an experience! Hope we can come back in springtime some day and enjoy warmer temps and the outdoor seating and dining. My favorite rental EVER !!

Utter perfection!

While the pictures online offer gorgeous images, they do not do this place justice! It was even better than we imagined it would be. Right from the start, communication from the leasing team was excellent. We had all the information we needed, from how to get there and gate codes/key codes for the home. In the midst of our stay, the gate code changed but we were promptly notified via text. And we knew what was expected for checkout procedures. It was too easy! When we walked into the home, we found a spacious comfortable living room with plenty of room had we brought the whole family (we didn't---it was just us this time!). The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could have needed to cook. It was perfectly appointed and impeccably clean. The bedrooms were good sized and the king bed in the main bedroom was so wonderfully comfortable. We slept so well with the sound of the ocean just outside our window. The exterior was lovely. The hot tub is positioned well to take advantage of the beautiful view of the ocean/Proposal Rock. There was plenty of deck furniture to make the days comfy. While it rained the majority of our time there, when the sun did come out, it made everything so much brighter and joyful. We enjoyed taking in the views, even in the rain. It was a very short drive to the beach, but had it not been raining, it was certainly walkable. There was so much to see and do! We cannot wait to come back to this beautifully perfect slice of paradise!

The view is hard to capture in pictures - anything you might hope it will be, multiply by 10. The view is amazing and borderlines on an experience activity just staring and listening. We LOVE looking through one layer of old growth trees, and watching squirrels & birds silhouetted in front of the ocean. The ocean waves are loud and clear here, as if you're on the beach. You almost can't whisper outside. So amazing. The porch was GREAT with the sofa. And the spa was HUGE, clean, and just wonderful. The house was extremely clean and felt new. The design/floor plan feels like it's pouring your soul into the ocean, what a great unforgettable vibe. Kitchen was complete and a delight to cook in. The beach is one of the best on the OR coast; wide, long, beautiful & interestingly unique, low traffic especially on this side of the river... Just fantastic. I would buy this house if I won the lottery lol. Only suggestions & FYI's I have for this house are: the beds are a bit firm, I am 6' 4" and 220, and a side sleeper. These made my back hurt after the second day; they just need to add a 6" memory foam topper. Also, we found the way to the beach, but it was a deterrent not knowing. I uploaded a screenshot map that would help. Also, this one was a plus for us as we have a sun sensitivity, but you cannot see the full sunset due to the NW direction of the cliff. The colors were amazing and we enjoyed it nonetheless, but just FYI you'll have to go to the beach to see the sun hit the water.

We had an amazing stay! The check-in process was easy, instructions were clear and easy to follow- we had no issues. The property itself was very well taken care of. While some things may be outdated it was immaculate, we couldn’t believe some of the things were original to the home with how well it has been maintained. The view was our favorite part, sitting in the hot tub each night watching the sunset over the ocean was incredible. This is somewhere we would come back to year after year, we couldn’t have had a better experience! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
