Wonderful Location

The stay was wonderful, house was everything that was reflected in the advertisement and was provided with very clear check in information and prompt service when required. If you're wanting a quiet break with 180 degree hill views - this is the place to be.

This house is huge. 7 adults stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. There was plenty of room for us all. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It’s only a short drive into Oberon where there is plenty of places to eat or buy food and cook your own back at the house.we would definitely stay again and we recommend it to others

This is the kind of place that makes you want to move to the country. Stunning spot on top of a hill with an amazing view. Very private. Pristine large house with all the uncompromised comforts of the city

Perfect family-friendly country getaway

Waringa Downs was a gloriously generous home amongst the rolling hills with the most spectacular sunsets. We spotted roos and possums at night on the property and enjoyed the fresh country air. Perfectly positioned to enjoy Mayfield Gardens, fossicking in Oberon and walks through the State Forests. The kids loved the maze at Mayfield Gardens and we all thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home as our base. We will be back if we get around to another country break!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Such a lovely country vibe, beautiful views and stunning sunsets. Had everything we needed plus more. Great communication and easy access to the property. Would love to come and stay again at some stage!! Only thing I can think of to recommend, are the bed mattresses. We all found them a little too firm. Otherwise, couldn’t fault our stay. Thanks so much for having us.

Our group consisted of 3 older couples - siblings & spouses. The house is well appointed - beautifully furnished and well equipped. We brought a meal with us on the first night and used the BBQ the second night. There was a good supply of platters for our cheese & crackers and other snacks. The "Welcome Book" contained photos of which crockery etc went into each cupboard, making it easy to put everything back where it was originally located. Our only problem was locating the keys to unlock the sliding glass doors and windows. We eventually rang the Host and that issue was quickly resolved. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Waringa Downs, but because of the high quality furnishings, I don't think it would have been quite so relaxing if we had young grandchildren with us. We agreed that we would all be keen to return to this property for another quiet stay in the country.

Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay and found the home well appointed and equipped for a relaxing getaway. It’s wonderful to know the welcome book and kitchen items made your stay easier and more comfortable. We appreciate your patience with the keys, and we’re glad we could resolve it quickly once you reached out. Thank you also for your thoughtful note regarding the furnishings - it’s very helpful feedback.
