Welcome to Azehna Acres, a Net Zero modern hobby farm. The home is on a 5-acre property tucked in the countryside, minutes from town. The home was built to achieve 4 Green-Building certifications. Some of the highlights of the home are: all the energy it uses comes from solar panels, all the water the home uses is provided by rainwater collection and state of the art filtration; it uses 90% less energy than a typical home, and uses reclaimed timbers, and all materials used are ultra-low VOC
The suite is a modern, tastefully furnished separate entry suite. The space provides a tranquil, relaxing stay in the countryside (just a few minutes from town), on a modern hobby farm setting. Enjoy a relaxing morning tea in the Japanese Garden oasis outside the suite.
The bathroom features radiant electric in-floor heating, a towel warmer, and a detachable shower spray head. It also has an artistic, hand-blown glass vessel sink made in Venice, Italy.
All building materials in the suite were carefully chosen selected based on being sustainably sourced and ultra-low or zero VOC (from Italian paints made from vegetable byproducts, natural wood stains, formaldehyde-free plywood, and sheep’s wool batt insulation). All sheets and towels in the suite are also organic.
