Our home is nestled in a quiet, peaceful community on a no-thru road, offering a serene setting for your stay. Directly behind the house is an animal sanctuary that attracts a wide variety of birdlife—from hummingbirds to majestic bald eagles. In fact, there’s a bald eagle nest located very close to your suite! You’ll also find scenic nature trails just a short walk away.

Built in 2021, our home features sound-dampening construction to minimize noise between floors, ensuring a quiet and restful environment.

We have four actively recording cameras on the property, which record video and audio. The first camera is a doorbell camera at the front door of the house. The second camera overlooks the front driveway. The third camera overlooks the walkway as you approach the suite, and the fourth camera captures the entire backyard. All cameras are on the exterior of the property.

Even my 85 year old mother liked it!

Clean, roomy and quiet. Exactly what we needed. Laundry facilities were a plus. Have already recommended to other family visiting the area in the future. Even my 85 year old mother who doesn’t like staying anywhere other than her place felt comfortable here. Thank you!

An unexpected gem!

What a wonderful stay! Sonny and Cher were gracious hosts who not only communicated clearly and promptly but also went above and beyond in preparing the unit. They thought of all the little extras that you typically don't find elsewhere, such as soaps, shampoos, earbuds, snack bars, and more. Every detail in their unit was carefully considered.

Comfortable stay & great location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Jan 2024. Plenty of room, comfy living room, nice and clean, and all you need in the well supplied kitchen. Appreciated the large new washer and dryer for our weeklong stay. It's a quiet location, we didn't hear any noise from outside. Like the green space to look out from the living room. Easy and safe to quickly get onto the Island highway or right into south Naniamo and Cedar. Lots of close by options for meal delivery. Fast replies from Sonny and Cher, I know they would do their utmost to make anyone's stay welcoming and easy. thank you!

Spotlessly clean, spacious property

This was a great place for my weekend visit. Sonny and Cher were kind enough to allow me a bit of an earlier check in which was great (though wouldn't expect this to always be possible). The property was spotlessly clean and welcoming. I dare anyone to try to find a stain, a mess, a mark, a bit of dirt. Spotless. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of spare bedding in the closet. Decor was lovely, very inviting and comfortable. Bathroom had everything you needed and then some (the spare toothbrushes were a nice tough - I didn't need one, but very thoughtful to consider. Nice bright entrance, large TV, plenty of seating, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, cutlery etc. Parking spot isn't huge, but no problem getting my small SUV in the spot. The only thing I would tell potential renters is to be aware that this is a basement suite with occupants above. It was certainly not noisy, but you could hear the odd footstep so if someone was bothered by this, or thinking they were renting a whole house, just know that there are others living in the home. It did not bother me though. Two thumbs up, five stars. I will rent again if the opportunity arises. Thank you!
