Check-in was a breeze - Ron met us at the front gate and walked us through all of the details for our stay. The property was beautiful, it truly felt like a 2nd home for us in Dana Point. The front deci was fantastic for hosting, and the rear garage was a life saver (both for working at the desk and for parking). When we next visit Capo Beach/Dana Point and this is available, you’d better believe we’ll be staying here again!
We loved our time at the Garabaldi Bungalow. The location had easy access to Dana Point and San Clemente as well as the beach. Lovely front patio that is private and also gets bathed in sun. Wonderful host and couldnt have been happier.

This place was a perfect home to stay in while our house was getting renovated for 10 weeks. Carla was so accommodating and helped us at every turn. The location is fantastic and my family and I frequently walked to the beach.
We had a very pleasant stay. The property is close to all the lovely aereas in Southern California and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. The property is updated very nicely. All our needs for well-provided for. Especially the patio was very enjoyable.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The front porch is fabulous and it was a pleasure to live the indoor/outdoor in So Cal. We both highly recommend staying at this property!
House was a bit smaller than I expected. Address says Dana Point but neighborhood is San Juan Capistrano. House grew on me. Very clean and updated. Had a lovely week.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm scratching my head a bit because our official address is Dana Point. We are very close to San Juan Capistrano though.

When I first arrived I was upset due to the location being in an area that’s mixed with commercial and close to the freeway off-ramp. The unit smelled sour I believe from not running the A/C and the weather being close to 90*. Back area of the home has no A/C And was extremely warm. We had to use two fans to direct the small A/C unit that’s in the family room towards the bedrooms in the back of the home which was a pain. They should invest in another unit for the back of the home. I also had to hose down the patio on arrival myself which had dirt and cobwebs that looked like no one had done this all summer. I asked to be moved to another rental when I arrived, but nothing was available. I had a good time overall, but will never rent this place again.
Overall, nice area, clean property, lovely patio, and comfortable beds and linens. The property manager responded pretty quickly, to any text messages, or phone calls. We had some issues with this property. The first night, the handle in the shower broke while it was at the hottest setting, and we were trying to figure out how to get it to turn off. I called the manager, and we were told to either leave the water running, or turn the water off to he house and she would get someone out first thing in the morning. (to her credit it was almost 11:00 pm on a Saturday night) We turned the main water off and then were able to get the handle to move to the off position by grabbing the bottom and with great effort, turning it to off. The plumber came out the next day and attached a wrench to the handle, so that we could take showers. Carla said it would be a 4 hour repair, so we just lived for the week with a wrench on the handle of the shower. It was fine, but not an ideal way to live in a vacation rental. Some other things that I wasn’t expecting. The house says it has A/C, however, it isn’t central air. It is a wall unit in the family room, so the bedrooms get pretty stuffy. If you keep the windows open, to get the breeze, it isn’t too bad. The couch, the inside table & chairs, outside table, and beach chairs could use an upgrade. Also, If there could be some beach towels provided that would be great as well.Overall nice property, so I would stay here again.

My apologies that the shower valve malfunctioned. I was able to get a plumber out to fix it early Sunday morning which was fortunate and the shower was able to be used but the complete fix was a 4 hour job so the guest opted for this to be finished after they checked out, which was fine because the shower was operable. Thank you for your feedback. More beach towels are needed and will be provided.
Our stay here was a delight! Comfortable, clean and cozy setting, and all the comforts of home. We stayed there while visiting with our children/grandchildren, and we were even able to host them and other friends. The garage parking was a wonderful benefit. We enjoyed fully the outdoor sitting area. Management was most accommodating and responsive. An easy return decision, and I highly recommend!
