In all my years of traveling, this was probably the BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in! Sweet and cozy cottage, well decorated and every amenity and accommodation we could ask for to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks so much Kevin.
We stayed at this lovely little home in the fall/winter of 2024. It is extremely well-stocked and cleverly arranged. A comfortable bed, plenty of fluffy towels, a fully stocked kitchen with many basics to get you started on your stay, and a quiet neighborhood added to our enjoyment. The home is extremely clean and perfect for two adults.
This little house is darling, and looks exactly like the pictures. It was perfectly clean and cozy, and we really appreciated the kitchen, the fresh coffee, and especially the unobtrusive labels on the light switches and remotes - a very thoughtful touch! We'll definitely stay there again next time we're in McMinnville!
We were extremely pleased with cottage. Our host was highly responsive to any questions we had. We were amazed at how well the kitchen was supplied and the cottage furnishings. This cottage is by far the best VRBO type property we have been to. McMinnville is a wonderful town to visit. This cottage truly felt like a home away from home.
Nicely situated to explore wine country and within a reasonable walk to town for the restaurant and shopping scene. Had all we needed for a couple-day visit. One knock is the odd neighborhood of well-kept homes and slightly sketchy ones. Sitting outside was not exactly private either.
The house is in a great place. Very central to any Willamette Valley destination. The owner, Kevin, was awesome. Very quick with communication and direction. All the amenities of the home were good. We come to Oregon 2-3 times a year. We definitely are looking at a late June or for 4th of July 2024. Ty Kevin and VRBO.
We did a road trip through Oregon and wanted some time near the wineries. I researched what would be close but also have a charming downtown. Downtown is a one mile walk through a cute neighborhood. Restaurants were great and make sure you have a reservation for some. They closed down the street in the weekend for summer and you can walk though peacefully. The home is precious and perfect for two people. We sat on the back patio after dinner, such a quiet neighborhood. Having laundry machine was an extra bonus. Host was responsive and one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in!
The house was perfect for the two of us. We were blocks from downtown and the weather was absolutely beautiful. The only comment I have is the backyard is far from being private! You are on a corner lot with no fencing and everyone can see you. So just be aware.
But we could not ask for a cleaner house. We had every single thing that we needed and had a great time!
We spent 4 nights in the lovely little place. It is stocked and equipped with everything you might need. No suprises, no disappointments, no looking around and saying "it certainly doesn't look like the pictures...". In fact, it is so tastefully decorated we found ourselves wondering how many decorating ideas we could borrow for our own home. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient. McMinnville is a great little city and a perfect base for exploring wine country. Kevin was very easy to deal with and thoroughly professional. Highly recommended!
I really wanted to give the host a review that just said amazing. The cottage is adorable, well appointed with everything you need (salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, some extra spices, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and shampoo/conditioner/body wash). The kitchen had more supplies and cookware than in any house I've ever stayed. 10 Stars for that. The outside could use a bit of sprucing up and some more privacy but the ability to sit outside with morning coffee was a treat. The major negative was the bed. I, along with 39% of the American population have back issues and a firm, high quality bed that doesn't have wells in the areas where people sleep is a must. With a new bed at the cottage I would definitely rent again.
Beautiful and nicely appointed wine friendly cottage. One of the best things is location; walkable to the pedestrian downtown area (in the summer) and an easy drive to local wineries. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!
The cottage was absolutely perfect for us. It is well appointed, clean, and in a nice central area for visiting within the Willamette area. The owner was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We would absolutely stay again!!
We were in the area for a wedding and had never been in Oregon before. We traveled from our home state of Vermont with minimal luggage so we were thrilled to find everything we could possibly need. The house is beautifully appointed and absolutely adorable! Communication with the host was easy, entry to the house was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this property.
It started out as a solo trip but I ended up having a friend come along. We both loved the cottage. It was the exactly as pictured, quiet and very comfortable for two people. We walked to the main street everyday to work off some of the great food and wine that we sampled. This is my second year in a row that I have spent a few days in this area and I hope to be able to come back in the fall. Would definitely hope to stay in this cottage again and would highly recommend.
Very relaxing, comfy stay - the place was exactly how it looked online! Lots of attention to the big and little details. Communications and check in with Kevin was perfect. Can’t wait to stay again!
Very cute house, super close to downtown and a great jumping off point for wine country. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return in a heartbeat.
As advertised, spotless, well stocked, cozy cottage. Short residential walk to all that downtown has to offer. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. Excellent.
The cottage was perfect for our three night stay. It was exceptionally clean, had a super comfy bed, and lots of nice touches. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The location is great for visiting the downtown area and close to so many wineries. I highly recommend this property!

I love wine, good food and beautiful landscapes. That's why McMinnville is the ideal spot for my quaint, romantic vacation rental. We spent months carefully renovating the cottage from top to bottom
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with the Willamette Valley on my very first visit. The incredible wineries and breathtaking countryside speak for themselves. What really attracted me was the warm, friendly locals and vintage 3rd St. in downtown McMinnville with its unique tasting rooms and restaurants.
What makes this property unique
One of the City's quietest neighborhoods, but less than a mile form America's 2nd Best Main Street (Parade Magazine). Use of entire house with parking and covered deck for quiet afternoons.
