The migration of whales is from around May to October and is viewed from a deck less than 20 metres away.
Also have fun in the sun with activities like scuba diving or snorkelling to find turtles, manta rays and a variety of fish.
Rent the tennis courts near the park and library.
Point Lookout has beautiful fine, white sand beaches where relaxing is the order for the day.
The island is mostly unspoiled and has beach escapism down to an art.

Explore Stradbroke Island, and swim in a choice of freshwater - tea tree lakes infused with tea tree oil and the surrounding vegetation, have a picnic,
you could bring a tennis racquet and balls and hire a tennis court,
go dirt bike riding.
Night clubs are not big on Stradbroke.
