About this property

Calm, 2 bed apt, Cutty Sark, Riverside views in the heart of Greenwich

Our lovely 2BD apartment is a little piece of calm in the hustle and bustle of Greenwich!

Sit in the window and watch the world go by after having explored the beauty of Royal Greenwich & beyond.
Located right on the river, in the middle of it!

This spacious 2 bedroom apartment has been refurbished so that the layout allows to you fully enjoy the incredible river views. The result is an unusually large London apartment, with dining room, living room, separate kitchen and 2 great sized bedrooms.

Located, truly, in the heart of Royal Greenwich, right on the river, it is the perfect place to stay and explore not only Greenwich, but the rest of London, as it is a short tube, boat, bus or cab ride into the centre of it all.

Guest access

You will have use of all of the apartment during your stay.
There is wifi throughout and a smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon, 200 plus tv channels and many other apps.
There is a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board too, should you need them.
There are also games and books for that rainy day.
The flat is on the first floor and is accessible through security gates that secure the building. There is also a lift.
Unfortunately there is no parking that comes with the flat, but there are places to park nearby through parking sites like and

Interaction with guests

We co-host with our friend Davey , who will be contactable via email or telephone and on hand to help with anything you need during your stay

The neighborhood

Where do i start? Greenwich is probably one of the best visitor locations in London.
It has more pubs and restaurants per sq mile than any other area.
Not to mention the beautiful historic buildings
(Oh did someone say Les Miserables)
Of course there is the Cutty Sark, the Maritime museum, the Royal Observatory, Greenwich Park, Blackheath common, and the famous Greenwich market to keep you busy.

Getting around

Greenwich is in Zone 2 on the underground map, which means you are 30 mins away from Oxford Circus by tube, 40 mins to Embankment by riverboat and just 26 mins to Trafalgar square by taxi.
My favourite way to travel is by river boat- the pier is just outside the apartment and is a great way to see London without the crowds.

Stayed on the apartment for the London marathon. It was walking distance to the start in Greenwich park and had transportation (boat and train) very close by. Restaurants and shops are also walking distance. Very quiet and safe. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Perfect location and a wonderful holiday let
We stayed for 6 nights with 3 adults in this wonderful holiday let which is totally perfect located. We got a warm welcome by Rita an found a clean, absolutely well equipped and furnished with love apartment. We did not miss anything, on the contrary "everything" was there. The beds were comfortable the couch very cozy and the view of the Thames priceless. Next time we visit London we will definitely come again. I could write so many things that were good but I just want to say thank you.

Pleasant stay
Property was very nice. Great location. The only complaint I have is it is classified as 2 bathroom. It should be 1 bathroom and 1 toilet room. We also were unable to connect to the wifi with our cell phones.

clean and comfortable, convenient location
We enjoyed our stay here. The check in process was a bit more complicated than other VRBOs we've stayed at (had to coordinate meeting someone) but after seeing the layout with the outside door I can understand why this was necessary. Host provided some thoughtful extras in the fridge. helpful advice on transit, and checked in the following day to make sure everything was OK. Location was very convenient to DLR station. Wonderful location on the River front and near the Cutty Sark. We live in a bit of a rural area so the city noises seemed a bit loud to us, but I think it was nothing out of the ordinary for an urban setting, just us being "country mice". Appreciated the fans in each bedroom as it was pretty hot during our stay.

Fabulous spacious 2-bedroom first floor apartment that is clean and secure with excellent amenities. The apartment looks out onto the Cutty Sark and the river and is also very close to other local attractions, including Greenwich market and the Queens house. Our hosts were excellent and really looked after us. I'd enthusiastically recommend this property if you're looking for somewhere close to the attractions in Greenwich.

I am a British Make up Artist living in both California and London with my husband Frazer and 2 cockapoos Minnie and Schnuff
As an artist, i appreciate the beautiful things in life -
I adore English skies in September and Californian sunsets in the winter.
I relish visiting new countries and hosting parties for my friends.
I miss my family, but love the adventure of living in a foreign country

Why they chose this property

I moved to Greenwich after having lived all over London since my early 20's. I chose to live there, because it felt like living in a lovely village, with big wide green spaces to explore and the space of the river to calm.
For me, it is the perfect place to stay in London, it's a 30 min journey from London city Airport. You can be in the center of london in less than 30 mins by train or by boat(which is my favorite way to travel). There are more pubs than you will ever need and the discovering the history of Greenwich is wonderful and endless.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the view from my apartment the first time i saw it.
It was originally a 3 bedroom apartment, with all bedrooms overlooking the river and the living room looking out over the car park!
Needless to say i had to change this, so now it is a generous 2 bedroom apartment with living room views over the river and to the city beyond.
