Great location in Surfers Paradise. Apartment was roomy and clean on arrival. Accommodating host allowed early check in as no guest on the previous night. Included car park an added bonus. Plenty of food and grocery options within easy walking distance. Apartment was peaceful and quiet with no noise or security concerns.We had booked for 6 people which included 2 sleeping on the fold out couch in the lounge (which was fine) however the only bedding provided was one sheet, one, pillow, and one pillowcase. Only 3 forks provided for cutlery, insufficient for 6 people. Only 1 drinking glass provided (plus 1 wine glass), also insufficient for 6 people. Only one access key/fob provided meaning we had to co-ordinate whenever anyone went out as the fob was required for entering the building & lifts as well as entry/exit to the carpark (another family of 3 in the same building were provided with two keys/fobs).Handle on the ensuite door was missing the top screw causing the handle to come apart and concern of being locked in or out. All issues noted above can easily be rectified and would happily book this accommodation again for our next trip based on all the positive aspects.

Noise

We were not told about the noise that started at 7am each morning. There was constant drilling g and hammering from above. It was then obvious that the building / units were being updated !!! Our apartment actually had some kind of extraction machine with pipes that worried us about asbestos’s being in building
