The house was clean overall, and communication with the hosts was good. They responded promptly whenever I had questions. That said, I would rate our stay around 3.5 stars.For the price, I felt the house was overpriced for its current condition. The property is in need of some updating and maintenance. There was visible mold/mildew around the bathroom surround and on the ceiling. We were told that it had been treated, but it was never painted or repaired afterward. As a contractor myself, I was surprised by the way this was handled, and I have some concerns about whether the issue was properly addressed.There was also some type of animal in the attic during our stay. We reported it, and although we were repeatedly told that someone would come to take care of it, no one ever came while we were there.Overall, the house was clean and the communication was good, but the maintenance issues and the condition of the property did not seem to match the price we paid.

Columbus stay

This property had very nice pictures. Upon arriving it was decent. The pictures were a bit deceiving. The master bedroom bed was very unstable. The dryer button to start it was broken but maintenance was quick to come fix it. Once we used the dryer we noticed the clothes weren’t drying at all. This was very inconvenient as we were washing clothes for our trip home. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all. For the amount we paid I thought it would have been a tad bit better.

The one bedroom had no light when you turned on the switch. Outlet didn’t work to plug in a light. There were towels on the beds. The main bedroom didn’t have towels. We had to purchase towels. When I messaged about the situation there was never a remedy offered or an apology for the inconvenience. After our purchase we found the towels in the dryer and they were not dry. Just over all very disappointed.
