This place is super cute! There is a dirt road to get there so if you are protective of a boat, take that into consideration. But this place was beautiful and I would 100% book again.

The check in process was smooth and the host was quick to take care of a few things that popped up during the stay. We enjoyed our time at the house.

This property was great for our party of 17. The extra play room in the garage is great for kids to play and out of sight and sound when needed. The kitchen was great and the outdoor activities were amazing as well. The biggest feedback I would give would be the spiders and bugs on the inside of the house (con of being rural, so it's understandable), the temperature in the house is tricky because the upstairs was so warm and the basement would be freezing. Both of these are hard to control. The one thing that could have been changed was upon our arrival we noticed that the glass garage door was broken. We called right away and they confirmed that they knew it was broken and it would be repaired soon. However, the shattered glass was there the entire time. They should clean this up asap.

Property was great size but wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed. Fit our youth group with boys in the bunk house and girls in the main house.

House looked great upon first look however we missed the many spiders, earwigs and other annoying bugs. Several spiders and earwig were found in the beds of the outbuilding. To the credit of the owner they did respond quickly to spray the place but spraying didn’t completely resolve the issue. The A/C in the outbuilding didn’t work so they brought in a portable A/C the next day. The house A/C unit was not able to keep up with the 90 degree weather. Not their fault we are experiencing unusual weather conditions. We found that the basement had been flooded the previous week leaving us with a damp floor and musty smell. We also found an ugly pile of trash on top of the outbuilding bathroom which was never cleaned. The Director of Operations told us that house keeping didn’t have access to that area. We found broken glass on the floor in the living room once it was imbedded into my 38 year old son. I could go on with the issue we encountered but needless to say we worked around all these issues to have a wonderful time on the lake.

Great Family time

We had a great time at this home. A beautiful view from the back porch of Bear Lake. Very clean and homey. The only downside was the bunk house was hot during the day with only 1 small AC machine to cool it down. It didn’t get cool at all during the day, only throughout the night when we opened the windows. It is a bit inconvient that the bunk house is about 40 yards from the home and seperate. To get to the main house at night you definitely need a light of some sort. Other than that, it’s a great home and we would stay there again!

The cabin was nice and secluded near Bear Lake. The cabin is closed enough to the market area to make grabbing a last minute item very easy, while still being private enough to feel like you have your own slice of the mountain. We went to the lake for a day of fun. The house itself has a lot of space and a good setup to house a large family. The bunkhouse is not quite as close to the main house as we thought, but our older teens enjoyed their own retreat. Something that would be nice to have is a second refrigerator. We needed a lot of food to feed our whole group, and the only nearby grocery is somewhat expensive, so we had a lot to fit in one refrigerator. Be extra careful at the turnoff for the cabin; it's a very tight hairpin turn on a gravel road with a steep drop-off. All in all, we had a great time and were able to relax with our family.
