What a wonderful stay! Tim and Barb were incredible hosts, welcoming us warmly and taking care of us throughout our time in Stratford. The location really is a stone’s throw from all the action, so a prime location for everything you’ll want to do in town. The property is absolutely stunning, and we highly recommend staying here for anyone coming to Stratford!

Stone’s Throw is immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, in a convenient location with a lovely backyard garden. There aren’t enough adjectives! The place is perfect, and so are the hosts.

Extremely pleasant and comfortable stay. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Their gardens are gorgeous. The hosts were friendly, informative, and helpful. The property was a very short walk from everywhere. We will definitely stay again.

A Stone's Throw is a lovely property - clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard landscaping is peaceful and gorgeous. Communication when booking was easy, with prompt responses. Check in was quick and simple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tim and Barb are delightful, thoughtful, and great hosts. We highly recommend staying at A Stone's Throw when in Stratford. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay! Tim and his wife were fantastic hosts. Even drove us over to the theater so my 95 year old mom did not have to walk. Will definitely stay again when back in Stratford !

We hope to stay again

We had the best experience … hosts Tim and Barb were amazing. Property was lovely and we were encouraged to enjoy it. The location is a 10+ and with such a beautiful loft we can’t wait to enjoy it again one day soon. Lastly … the beds were so comfortable.

Lovely weekend in Stratford

The property is beautiful and very comfortable. Immaculate with everything you need. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and then explored the downtown shops, restaurants and gardens. Tim and Barb are amazing hosts who gave us and our extended family, who were also visiting Stratford, full enjoyment of their beautiful patio and yard. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay very much. Location is perfect-walking distance to everything.

Barb, Tim and their beautiful space made for an excellent theatre getaway. The unit was spacious and sparkling clean with thoughtful amenities. The separate sleeping areas facilitated a snore-free and peaceful nights sleep ;) The hosts were welcoming and always available, ensuring a seamless stay. I highly recommend this wonderful spot located just a “stone’s throw” away from everything. We look forward to returning next season!

What a gem!

We had the most relaxing weekend away with our kids in the family loft. It was the perfect size for a family of four, and offered lots of space to relax. The kids loved sitting at the breakfast bar each morning, and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the back yard. Tim and Barb are absolute gems - they are the kindest, and most caring hosts we have experienced on a getaway like this. They were easy-going, and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Wonderful home and garden in Stratford

The home has been beautifully renovated, decorated with calm colours and art reflecting the local area. The beds were high quality and very comfortable, and the breakfast bar overlooking the beautiful garden in the backyard was a perfect way to start the day. Location was great, as the town centre and wide range of restaurants, cafes and shops were all within a few minutes walk. We came for the Stratford festival, and the walk to the theatre was an enjoyable 25 minute walk, but there was also parking at the theatre. Finally, the host was always available to answer questions, talk about the theatre and the area, and provided excellent recommendations to help make our stay enjoyable. Even the small touches such as providing sparkling water and a tray of local cookies and chocolates made us feel like we were at a spa. I highly recommend this place.
