Wonderful getaway to the hill country. We loved everything about the house and the back patio. The cowboy pool was warm the first day for swimming but by day three it did not seem to be heated up any longer. A fantastic stay!

This property was even better in person! Beautiful home secluded just enough where you felt hidden away but still close to the charming town of Wimberley and surrounding areas. The outdoor patios and cowboy pool were quiet and perfect for relaxing. We received timely, detailed instructions for check in and had great communication with the host during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the property. We hope to host you again soon.
Beautiful home on a secluded plot of land. Plenty of privacy and close proximity to town. Only issue was unkept back patio. Wasps nests, spider webs, mice nests in outdoor kitchen. Some pest control and general outdoor maintenance would help the property. Communication with management was quick and easy. Overall, great stay, would recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
The house is beautiful, but the pool was 100 degrees and was unusable for my family. The 1 mile unpaved road in was brutal. Not just a dirt/gravel road - large sharp rocks and huge holes to navigate. Just a heads up, not a deal breaker if you have the right car.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're so glad you found the house beautiful and appreciate your honest feedback about the pool and road conditions. We're sorry to hear the pool was too warm to enjoy — we understand how disappointing that can be, especially in the summer, and we’re currently looking into options to help manage the temperature during hotter months. Unfortunately because cowboy pools are rather small and made of metal, they can heat up quite significantly in the sun.
As for the road, you're right — it’s definitely a rugged stretch, and while some guests find it part of the Hill Country charm, it can be tough without the right vehicle. We truly appreciate you sharing these notes for future guests, and we’d love the chance to welcome you back under better conditions.
The Hill Country accommodations were fantastic. The house is modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Thank you for the extra amenities of hand soap, shampoo and body wash in the shower. Such touches were small but special. We appreciated that the location, while most of a mile down mildly rough gravel road, was away from the hustle and bustle of the community. It made it so easy to relax and allowed us to spot various wildlife that wouldn't have been around otherwise. Being able to use such a nice firepit was wonderful on the evening that we decided to relax outside. At other times, we enjoyed the modern convenience of the large living room TV. All-in-all, it is a wonderful place and we hope to be able to stay there again.
