If you are looking for a true family getaway, you absolutely cannot do better than this property. The scenery, the property, the surrounding charming towns and activities, amazing. The house is charming and cozy and yet had every modern convenience on hand for a large family graduation celebration. The property is tucked off beaten path, the provided directions are spot on, is perfect for star gazing and late night chats by the fire pit. The adorable front porch swing and enclosed patio perfect do early morning quiet and coffee. The game room was a bonus space for teens and adults and foosball tourneys!

Perfect place for four couples to enjoy a long weekend away! Nice separate game / tv room off the main house. The guys loved the reclining chairs and big screen tv to watch opening weekend of college football! Beautiful property!

We had a wonderful time celebrating two high school friends turning 60! The house was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, cowboy pool and the game room. The kitchen was stocked and we cooked and enjoyed many meals together. Wimberley was fun too; good restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

Perfect retreat

We stayed here celebrating a girls weekend. It was the perfect spot to relax and accommodate several of us! It is located conveniently for access to amenities but yet still feels like a rural setting. Highly recommend!

Great Coples Getaway

This was our first time visiting the Wimberly area and this was a perfect spot for 4 couples. Secluded and set back among the trees but still very close to town. We really enjoyed the pavilion, fire pit and outdoor space. The cabin was nicely laid out and the decor made it feel cozy. Kitchen felt a little crammed and we wished there were a few more prep/baking dishes, but overall this place met all our expectations. We'd definately stay here again!

Homestead House

Our entire family ages 75 to 10 enjoyed our stay at Homestead House and all the amenities it had to offer. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was very clean. The property is private and offers something for everyone. The towns of San Marcos and Wimberley offer a lot too!

Quaint Hill Country Log Cabin with hot tub

The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the recreational variety inside & outside and was in awe of the TV viewing options throughout the cabin & media room. The fireplace and hot tub were greatly appreciated. After staying at Cedar Vista several times we did miss the view.

Wimberly Paradise

We loved the Homestead House and would definitely stay again. The phrase "wow this is even nicer than we expected" was used many times. It's in a great location close to downtown Wimberly, but removed enough to feel very secluded. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved all the outdoor space. This is top of our list for staying in Wimberly.
