Serenity in Red Hill—Winery Bliss and Coastal Beauty

Warm country charm meets modern comfort at this inviting retreat, set in the heart of one of Victoria’s most celebrated food and wine regions and just minutes from Merricks Beach. Light-filled living areas offer space for groups to gather, while the fully equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. Outside, enjoy BBQs and alfresco dining or linger by the fire pit with a local wine. Directly opposite Avani Wines, enjoy private cellar-door tastings, curated in-house chef dining or gourmet meal delivery.
The living room invites cosy moments together, with two comfortable sofas, a TV and fireplace, plus split-system heating and cooling for year-round comfort. A second open-plan living area gives everyone room to spread out, featuring a TV, wood heater and ample seating. The fully equipped kitchen makes shared cooking easy, with quality appliances, generous bench space and breakfast-bar seating, while the six-seater dining table brings everyone together over meals.

Outside, make the most of Red Hill’s fresh country air with BBQs and alfresco meals overlooking the leafy gardens. The shared backyard features generous lawns with plenty of space for cricket, basketball, netball and croquet, along with a cubby house for children to enjoy. Seasonal herbs and fruit from the garden are complimentary when available. As night falls, the fire pit sets the scene for lingering over a glass of local wine.

There are two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a king upon request, all with split-system heating and cooling for year-round comfort. The contemporary bathroom features an overhead shower and complimentary toiletries, providing a refreshing space after a day exploring the Peninsula. A laundry with a washing machine, dryer and basin makes longer stays easy.

On-site parking is available for three cars.

Board games, Lego, a dollhouse, Jenga and drawing activities keep younger guests entertained, while surfboards and bikes are available on request for an additional charge. Welcome hampers with local produce, bubbles and wine can also be arranged on request. Firewood is available for the fireplaces for an additional charge, with complimentary marshmallows provided for roasting.

Perfectly positioned directly opposite Avani Wines, guests can enjoy a complimentary cellar-door tasting during their stay. For something special, curated in-house chef dining and gourmet meal delivery can also be arranged for an additional fee. Pre-booking is required. During your stay, you and your group will have the entire home to yourselves. Note that there is another rental home located on the property, also available to book for larger groups. You'll have complete privacy but may see other guests around the grounds from time to time. Please make yourselves at home!

You’ll have an array of nearby wineries to choose from, with Polperro Wines as well as Port Phillip Estate and Kooyong Winery within a few minutes’ drive. Arthur's Seat Eagle, a state-of-the-art gondola that offers sweeping views across the Port Phillip Bay coastline towards Melbourne, is a 15-minute drive, as is beautiful Dromana Beach where you can swim, picnic and make use of BBQ facilities.
