Very good

The cottage was very spacious and easily housed 8 people. Although the stairs to the dock were plenty the view was spectacular. The lake was good for fishing and renting a boat for the day was very enjoyable. We would have liked to have had an additional tv on the main floor and the children’s room on the same floor as the adults. Many thanks for a great holiday!! Highly recommend this cottage to anyone.
We came for a wedding at the Arts Center and just loved our stay. The views are amazing.

The cottage was spacious and had excellent lake views and water frontage. We enjoyed the individual ac systems in each room and all spaces were well laid out. We were however disappointed with many things. Upon arrival one could not miss the total neglect of the gardens where the weeds were plentiful and shoulder height - not a good first impression. The windows were filthy and the couch in the sunroom was damaged and too firm to relax on. The beds were generally uncomfortable and the mattresses were of poor quality and extremely noisy (creaking with every move). The frying pans were cheap and in poor condition, we literally had to buy our own just to use during our stay. The bbq burners were rotted out and unuseable. There were two outdoor benches which were broken but left by the waterside fireplace. Water pressure for showering was terrible. Overall, this cottage did not meet our expectations and was overpriced for the level of quality and comfort we experienced.
The cottage itself was great, and I would highly recommend the property. However, I was disappointed with how the owner handled an additional guest. The cottage is listed as sleeping up to 11 people for a set booking price. When I originally booked, I indicated that our group would only have 9 people. Later, one additional friend decided to join us, bringing our group to 10, still below the cottage’s advertised maximum capacity. Before our stay, I looked through the listing photos and couldn’t see how the cottage accommodated 11 people, so I reached out to ask about the sleeping arrangements for our 10th guest. The owner then told me we would have to pay an additional 150 for an extra bed.I found this unfair and misleading, as the cottage was advertised as accommodating up to 11 guests and the listed booking price did not appear to change based on whether there were 9, 10, or 11 guests. By the time I was informed of the additional charge, we were also past the deadline for a full refund. My advice to future guests would be to book for the maximum advertised capacity from the beginning, even if fewer people are expected to attend, to avoid being charged additional fees later.
The house was very clean and comfortable. The best seat in the house is the swing under the deck. What a tremendous view. We got a sunset Monday night, but the rest of the week was overcast due to the fires in Saskatchewan.
We booked and stayed a week here. Both the house and property were beautiful. Excellent fishing off the dock and charming little town just 5 min away. Larger shopping community was 20 min away which can cover all your needs. Tree top treking was only 15 min away which was awesome. Overall amaxing week
My brother and I rented this cottage with our families. We had a great time. There is lots of room to spread out or gather together. We were 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The bedrooms were perfect for us.
We spent most of our time outside on the beautiful property, big dock, fire pit by the lake and large deck off the house. The kitchen has a large table that fit all 9 of us. It was the perfect place for us to gather and spend time together.
Bewdley town in close by and has essentials, there is also a fishing store for supplies.
We had the best butter tarts I have ever had from Doo Doo's in the next small town.
The area around the cottage is lovely visit, our first time. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
