What a lovely review Belinda. You and your family were a delight to host and we are thrilled to learn you all had such a wonderful time.
Creating a space for people to enjoy while on holiday is at the heart of everything we do.
We hope to welcome you again sometime soon.
Regards
Rebecca
Beautiful relaxing surroundings and a well appointed chalet guesthouse.
Lots a greenery and nearby walking trail to the river.
The hosts are easy to communicate with and readily accessible by mobile.
Thank you
Great experience at the property. Very concise instructions and easy to follow. Had a good vibe overall. No interruptions during our two day stay.
We weren’t aware of requirements to state the number of people staying here and had a surprise charge as a result but just something to consider.

Fantastic!
We loved our stay at Chalet on Percheron. We came with our 3 young children and it was perfect for us. A highlight was watching the wild kangaroos come out at dusk to feed on the grass. Sunny and Bec were friendly, but we also felt like we had a lot of privacy as well. It is close to downtown (2 minute drive) and centrally located to all the happenings in Margaret River. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends coming to visit the area. Thanks again!

Hi Cherylyn, Thank you so much taking the time to provide us your feedback, it was lovely to meet you and your family. We are delighted to hear that you all got to see the kangaroos in the evening. Warm regards Sunny & Bec
Our guys get all the luck. When we send our team to do some country work, choosing somewhere comfortable for them is part of the deal. We absolutely hit the jackpot with Chalet Percheron. The guys could not stop thanking me for finding them such a beautiful place to put up their feet at the end of the day. They had 2 wonderful nights of being absolutely spoilt by the ease of checking in, the setting, facilities, comfort and tranquility were perfect. When your team is working away you want them to be happy and our's were over the moon. So much so that I want go on the next run with them just so I can enjoy Chalet Percheron as well. The help we got from Michelle and Rebecca was first rate and we will definitely book again.

Not a good experience
Loud renovations in the owners home which is right next to the chalet. They should have at least notified us about the disturbance instead of being rude when I texted them about notifying future guests. When you promise a quiet relaxing gateway area you should provide that instead of expecting your guests to text you every two minutes when there is an issue. We had trouble getting into the chalet at the agreed time as their system was down and I was not receiving their emails. I had to contact the help service which took and hour and a half. When finally getting into the chalet they’re was a lack of restocking. No sugar, no dishwashing liquid, tissue boxes almost empty and the coffee machine not cleaned. I’m giving two stars because there were visits from kangaroos every afternoon and the property was beautifully furnished.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review Himandi. It is a shame you have decided to write a nasty review instead of talking to us about your concerns. When I called and left a message of apology and offered to have a chat, we received a text back from you to advise "you did not wish to invest any more time on the matter." It is important future guests can see a balanced perspective of what happened during your stay. We are deeply sorry that you did not receive our access communication, our apologies were expressed to you on multiple occasions in relation to this. The error was with Expedia group, not a failure in our system. Our properties were deactivated, this is something Expedia group have been unable to explain what happened. As soon as it was brought to our attention by you notifying me you did not receive our access emails, I contacted them immediately. Interestingly, they assured me this should not have affected you receiving emails from us. With this in mind, we can not explain why you did not receive the information. Additionally, we have welcome guide on the VRBO website that is accessible for all guests that provide access details.
We were not rude about your message, what we did not appreciate was your comment "that you should have been warned about the man residing in the property next door" and despite your assessment of him being lovely you further said, "We were lucky nothing happened."
We are deeply sorry the coffee machine had not been cleaned, the sugar was not restocked and the tissues were low. As communicated to you, we have spoken to our housekeepers to ensure this does not happen again. In relation to the low dishwashing liquid, there is also a dishwasher on the property, with an abundant supply of dishwashing tablets. Our housekeepers advised us they thought there may have been enough for the duration of your stay.
The noise from the renovation is very unfortunate and something we were only advised about by you after your departure. As you know from the communications we shared, we were overseas during your stay, we asked the contractor not to begin work before 10 am and to let you know before he began. As I mentioned to you in our communications, had the noise, coffee machine and tissues been brought to our attention, we could have easily rectified the matter. We apologise again for this and reiterate our disappointment in both the contractor not touching base with you and for you not advising us, especially given you were messaging us on a daily basis during your stay.
Lovely feel to the cottage. Beautiful bedrooms and great kitchen with everything available. Great location -only 5 min to the centre of town but it feels like we were in the forest.
The setting and location of the property was great and so convenient to margaret river town. We felt we had everything we needed down to teapots and barbecue equipment and a lot of lounging options. We had 2 small children who enjoyed the wide open garden and animals that came to visit in the evening. Although we had to do some quick childproofing to put small breakables out of reach! Thanks for the lovely stay!
Lovely location, looked forward to what would have been a very nice and relaxing stay, but sadly cut short due to family emergency, will definitely be coming back.
We loved the setting of this house which was also well laid out and neat and tidy. The furnishings were very nice and it was a very peaceful place to stay with ours of birds and some rabbits who visited in the evenings.
Such a great homely property with everything you need at your fingertips. You would never know you were so close to town either. Our son enjoyed the big backyard to kick his ball around, mum and dad loved the deck and the fire to relax and unwind. Warm beds. And the coffee machine was a hit for mum! Just a beautiful warm property we will be back.
Overall this property is in a beautiful location, sitting out on the porch watching wildlife come and go was amazing. The only thing that bothered me was having another house so close, you dont have the block of land to yourself. Other than that the house was spacious and big enough for 6 people. The location was convienent not far from the shops or the beach. The river hike was breath taking. Our trip away was very relaxing definitely would stay again.

Thank you Ashleigh for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear it bothered you having the main house on the property. For transparency, this feature is disclosed in our property description. Some guests love knowing the owners are close by should they need it,
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you again sometime.
Regards
Sunny & Bec
A very comfortable property for 2 or a family group as sharing one bathroom and toilet would be a little harder for 6 adults!
A perfect place for small children to run around under the gaze of mum and dad having a relax ion the deck. There are great walks through light forest on well worn trails to the Margaret River which was in full flow! Very close to all other amenities.
