Pool under repair

We selected our spot because of the proximity to the pool for the kids. When we showed up, the pool was under repair and not available for use. We asked to move to a different site and were told that it was not possible and once the reservation is fixed you are “stuck.” The person in the office was friendly but not helpful as she was filling in for someone else. I called Meredith Lodging and was told that there was nothing they could do. The repair work was very loud during the day and we cut our trip short as we were not able to work remotely due to the noise. If amenities are unavailable or if construction is happening they need to include that in the listing. Very disappointed.
