WHERE IS THE BEACH?
Just 241 of my steps from the front door to the beach!! Thats a one block stroll to one of 2 beach accesses which lead you down the sandy path, over the dunes and ... ahhhh ... THE ATLANTIC OCEAN and award winning beaches welcome you!

WHERE IS THE HOUSE?
Between 28th and 29th Avenues. Just follow the palm tree lined Palm Boulevard to either 28th or 29th Avenue, one block to Cameron Blvd and arrive to your private 2700 square foot beach house!

FENCED & SHADED BACK YARD
After a day or walk on the beach you're just another short stroll back to your house, where a refreshing outside shower and shaded, fenced backyard awaits. Then its relaxing with family and friends!

Movies or shopping? Mt. Pleasant Town Centre is about 6 minutes away or downtown Charleston is about 20 minutes to your south.

Live music? Locally at the Windjammer, The Refuge, The Dinghy, Islander 71 at the Isle of Palms Marina, and others. Check local restaurants for details and schedules.

At the end of your day?
Private masters suite upstairs with ROKU STICK/TV, king bed, 2 person jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink, large walk in closet, sun room and sun deck.

Downstairs master has 1 king bed with ROKU STICK/TV. Also downstairs is 1 queen bedroom, a large bedroom with 4 twins (kids room or young at heart), 2 full baths, a foyer den and your newly renovated kitchen and great room with ROKU ULTRA/TV. The spacious backyard is right out the sliding back door - no stairs!

Dirty laundry? The front load washer & dryer are located just off the great room.

This is your perfect Island getaway!

Because this is our family home, rentals are only available to families or adult groups. No house parties or renters under the age of 30. Please let the owner know at time of inquiry/booking request if you plan to bring a dog. Thank You.

Family dogs are welcome! Please inform the owner of the number of dogs and the breeds with your inquiry/booking request. Limit 2 dogs. If the Pet Fee is not included with the initial automatic quote or instant booking, the owner will send an additional payment request prior to arrival.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check Out procedures are found with your contract, in our guest book, and on blue laminated cards in the kitchen and every bedroom.
Clear garbage bag is provided for used sheets. Black garbage bag is provided for used mattress pad covers. Both are found on the bakers rack in the kitchen. Please leave in foyer room for pick up

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please - no pools, tents or the like on the grass. We work hard to maintain a lawn and these things will kill the grass.

We had a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. The ability to have ground level entry and living was a great perk for our multi-generational needs. The upstairs master suite added additional privacy. We loved the fenced-in yard. My family would definitely stay at this property again.

Great Family Vacation!

Property was close walking distance to the beach. Property well maintained. Only recommendation would be better lighting outside in back yard to see dogs, shower and patio area. Yard was perfect for the furry kids!!

The house was just perfect! The location, the size for our 2 families, the cleanliness. The whole upstairs master suite was breathtaking. Communication with the owner was quick, she let us know we can check in early. Definitely would come back!!

Relaxing Family Beach Vacation

The property was perfect for our family, with plenty of bedrooms (and beds). It was an easy walk to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet enough for early morning walks. There were great restaurants nearby and a grocery store and it was an easy drive to various attractions.

Wonderful Trip

We enjoyed our recent stay at IOP. The house was lovely. We had plenty of room and it was very clean. It had a nice backyard and was close to the beach. Just a short drive to Charleston and other local attractions. Will definitely be back.

It’s all about location. Easy access to the beach, easy access to restaurants, easy access to Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Great space for large or extended family.

Thanksgiving

We decided for the very first time to celebrate Thanksgiving away in Isle Of Palms. Wonderful home! Well appointed and great back yard for our dog. Clean and plenty of room. And Lori the host was so accommodating!

Perfect vacation

This home was exactly as advertised, our family had a thoroughly enjoyable week. Not only was the house beautiful and comfortable, the perfectly manicured fenced in backyard and patio were definitely an added bonus. The host was friendly and very accessible. We hope to return!

Family Vacation

Very clean and ample room for a family ( 3 generations) of 12. Short walk to beach. Host (Lori) responds quickly to questions/concerns. We definitely would recommend a stay at this home, and we hope to return again.

IOP reunion

We had vacationed at IOP for 10 years. We were last here in 2016. It was a wonderful trip. The house is beautiful and well supplied with everything needed for a great vacation. The location can't be beat... 5 minute walk to the beach & 3 minute walk to the rec center. The backyard was beautiful. Wonderful vacation home!

Easy access

There were no steps to access the main floor of the house! For older folks and pets this made our stay very easy and safe from potential falls. We look forward to renting this house again:)

Great home for a family vacation

Owners were easy to work with and very attentive. Great location near the beach and park. The upstairs room is a large suite with a nice sun room. Good house layout for a big group to gather but also have room to separate when ready for a break from each other. Very well stocked kitchen. A charming community filled with nice people, homes, and places to eat.

Great Family Time

This home was perfect for our entire family of three generation. I would book this home again. The location is walking distance to the ocean. The ocean area is very beautiful. Access to the property was very simple to get in and out. Lori was in contact with as needed. She was always available if we needed something which we did not. 5 stars

Perfect Group Getaway

This house was perfect for our girls' group weekend trip. The house was as described, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. The location was ideal as it's a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to the restaurants and stores on IOP. The only negative was they didn't provide any extra toilet paper and 1 roll per bathroom won't last 8 women 3 days. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We've stayed at many VRBOs and this one has the most comfortable beds AND pillows of any we've stayed at! We always take our own pillows, we used the house pillows (high praise from a pillow snob!) We had three generations at the house, it met all our needs and then some. The kitchen has all the tools and gadgets to make tasty meals. The bakers rack was perfect for our food storage. The host was quick with communications. Our pup enjoyed the fence in backyard. Would highly recommend this home. I would note, we brought a "beach wagon" that made bringing items to the beach easier. Access 29 is just a short walk from the home.Bring some family games/cards for a rainy afternoon - none are on-site, but we always take several "in case" so we were fine. Just an FYI.

The house was well maintained, exceptionally clean and in a great location. There was as a short walk to beach …. We considered taking our golf cart but did not need it…. left it home. The simplicity of the inside of house was what really stood out for me…. No clutter… No dust collecting items… the kids room was great…. and each room had ceiling fans and floor fans if needed. UK Family Vacay

Had 4 families converging on the Isle of Palms from various locations. Canada, England and two from the upstate of SC. Checkin was easy & efficient. Communication with Lori was excellent and I’m pretty sure I drove her crazy with questions but she never seemed annoyed!! House was perfect - as shown and as advertised!!! Enough space that everyone had their own area without feeling cramped…backyard was a favorite gathering area and the short walk to the beach was easy even for several of us with bad knees!!! We had an amazing time and it is on our list of favorite places!! Would highly recommend!!!

Generationally accommodating!!!

Accommodated my elderly parents (90,88) with the master on the main. The main also has all the living, gathering, cooking and cleaning as a major plus. Young adults split up in the two other rooms on the main floor and my wife and I took the penthouse upstairs. The upstairs master is more of a large suite with sunroom sitting area and open decking to oversee the rear property and yard activities. I really liked that it’s not on the main drag, but just on the backside of it on the next street. Quiet, convenient to get in and out of,, and just a mile from the best eating and entertainment IOP has to offer. Grocery is even closer. It’s just a real nice, comfortable home with family charm and character. Beach is literally around the corner!! Adults- do the Dinghy, everyone needs some ACME!! Lori was great when we talked, had no issues here!! Thank You!!

It was the perfect fit for our family vacation of 6 adults, a toddler, and a dog!

This home was ideal for my family's long weekend get away. First, the location: IOP is our favorite SC beach. The house is on a quiet street and an easy walk to the beach and a neighborhood playground/park (a dog park, too, but we didn't use it). The house itself was very comfortable and roomy. The upstairs master suite is more space than anyone would ever need, and very quiet. The downstairs has 3 perfect bedrooms, accommodating both adults and children. There are three "living spaces" and a kitchen that opens into the main living area. A sliding door from the kitchen to the big, nicely landscaped yard made for easy access to the backyard and the outdoor shower, which was the first stop after a time on the beach. We weren't there long enough for backyard relaxing, but out dog loved running in the open space. My only wish was for an area rug in the main living room. Despite the outdoor shower, there seemed to always be slippery sand on the floors. This was minor. If we return to IOP I will try to rent this home again. Lori, the owner, was a delight to work with.

Great Beach Stay

Short walk to the beach and everything you could ever need. Stores close by for groceries. Our family had a great time, just wish we’d have stayed longer.
