Rooftop and pool were amazing! House was quirky but clean. It was everything we needed for beach days and pool evenings! Love that it had all the beach necessities we needed! The pool provided privacy and the rooftop was a breath of fresh air with the ocean breeze!

The house was nice and clean. The path to the beach was easy to get to. My family enjoyed the pool. The house had plenty of room for a family of 8 and it is pet friendly. Overall I would rent this house again.

Fun, quirky little place. We had a good time. Too cold for the pool, but the beach is very close. Completely fenced yard is great for a dogs. Off street parking and plenty of places to eat on Isle of Palms and Sullivan Island. Go to Fort Mourtrie just a few minutes away

We had a great time at John’s house. He had great communication during our visit and checked in several times as we had quite cold weather. Plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Great place and location. The pool and hot tub were put to good use. Plenty of rooms to prepare for a wedding and everything you would need in the kitchen to make a big breakfast! Rooftop deck was perfect for grabbing photos of the area.

This was a great house, with a great rooftop view, close to the beach, and easy golf-cart drive to shops and restaurants nearby. We'd definitely stay again!

What an amazing house! Fantastic view from the rooftop deck, the pool was a bonus and the location was perfect. The host answered every question I had prior to our visit and was very gracious and kind. Hopefully it will be available on our next trip to IOP!

Perfect getaway!

The Bungalow was the perfect getaway! Even though it was March and the weather was a little cool, we still enjoyed the beach, walks in the neighborhood, visited downtown Charleston, and shopped in Sullivans Island. The owner was wonderful and helpful to make our stay enjoyable.

We planned this as a last-minute getaway to get away from the stress and constant hustle of work, find somewhere dog friendly, and just relax for a few days. This place ended up being exactly what we were looking for.John was a great host throughout the stay. He checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed, while also giving us plenty of space to enjoy the trip and do our own thing. You can tell he puts real effort into the property and the small details throughout the house. Everything felt thoughtful and well planned out instead of just being another rental house.My wife kept saying how much she liked that the house actually felt like a home instead of a vacation rental. It looked like it had everything you would need and felt comfortable the entire time we were there.The house and property were very clean and well maintained. The backyard and pool area were one of our favorite parts of the stay. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dog Snowball, and she absolutely loved laying around and looking outside through the glass doors.The location was also excellent. The beach access was very easy to get to since the house is only a few houses back from the beach, and one thing we really appreciated was that the beach never felt overcrowded.Overall this place gave us exactly what we needed — a peaceful, relaxing getaway that genuinely felt comfortable and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again.
