We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was available. The stay was peaceful and relaxing, and the host was friendly and helpful throughout. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. We would happily stay here again!
Stayed here for 2 nights with my toddler! We loved our time! It had everything we could need, they provided firewood and all the essentials! It was my toddlers first “camping experience” and she definitely enjoyed herself! Huge property with tons to explore and a really nice little lake! Very accommodating and pleasant stay! We would rent this place again for sure!
Staying at this place has been one of the best and easiest trips I have ever had. Beautiful big property, so many trails, great photo opportunities, so many different birds to watch. Jim and Del are amazing people, so joyful, very welcoming and great with communications. This will definitely be a go to spot for my friends and i.
Its perfect for campers looking to experience camping and testing the waters for the first time. A quiet balance between the comfort of privacy and the beauty of nature.
Our stay was wonderful! We were pleasantly surprised that fire wood, sunscreen and other essentials were included. It should be noted that Jim’s cottage is just across the pond and the tap water wasn’t drinkable, but we found we had plenty of privacy and we were provided with plenty of drinking water. The cell service was a little spotty but the wifi was really good. The property is beautiful and has lots to explore. Highly recommend for an off the grid but comfortable trip!
An amazing, peaceful getaway! This property is nature at its best, and James was the perfect host. He welcomed us on arrival and was there to wave good-bye on departure. He went above and beyond, even providing wood for our bonfires. My two boys absolutely loved every minute of the trip, especially the fishing, hiking, horses ( they got to touch the horses), and turtles. The kayak was also an awesome highlight! We loved everything about this location. The water reflections make great photos. Awesome memory. Thank you, James, for a perfect stay. Highly recommend for nature lovers.
Great hosts, accommodating & kind! Everything was super easy and the property was gorgeous. There’s walking trails, the water, lots of area for outside games and the screen house was a godsend when it rained! We would love to come back.
Love our family time at Jim and Del's. The trailer is roomy, clean and everything you would want. Very peaceful, calming place to get away. Couldn't ask for better people. The lake is great for cooling off and watching nature at it's finest. Thank you again for another great visit. See you next year.
From the moment we arrived, Jim and Del were exceptionally accommodating, kind, and wonderful! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The cottage and property itself were amazing - so much wildlife for our kids to see, and it was only a short drive from the GTA. Water was super clear and clean and perfect to swim in(especially during a heat wave)! The raft/dock is an amazing feature. We loved paddling around the lake visiting our turtle “friends” every day. Kids loved the cabin and parents loved the AC in the spacious trailer. Cooked and ate outside everyday, was wonderful. We will definitely try to return every summer as a family friendly vacation spot.

This is our family's favorite home away from home destination, we come as often as we can and can't wait to bring our little one back again next year!!!
We just got back from an amazing 4-day stay at this lovely property! The hosts were absolutely wonderful, kind, attentive, and very responsive. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, from the grounds to the trailer and bunkie. The trailer was fully stocked with everything we needed, including cutlery, cookware, a fridge/freezer, condiments, toaster, hot plate, microwave, and an amazing propane BBQ with an extra burner. Firewood, bedding, bug spray, soap, and other necessities were also provided, which made our stay so convenient. We loved exploring the beautiful trails and even saw the host’s horses along the way. The pond was perfect for paddling, and the kids loved all the frogs! My son especially had a blast roaming around and hunting for bugs. The separate bunkie was fantastic, especially for larger groups. Also, the fact that bedding was provided was an extra bonus and made everything so convenient.I truly can’t say enough about how clean, peaceful, and well-maintained everything was, from the grounds to the trailer and bunkie. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into making sure their guests have everything they need. This was the perfect family getaway, peaceful, clean, fun, and very well cared for. Thank you so much for an amazing stay! We will definitely be back!
