Lake Buchanan Waterfront B & R Lodge

The Lake is Full Come and enjoy our piece of paradise that is again a full lake.
Perfect home for group up to 8 people. Located on the waters edge of Lake Buchanan. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We do not allow extra guest due to our septic system capability. The home features a large family room with a wood burning fireplace and a large fully furnished kitchen. There is a deck across the back that attaches to a very long pier that goes out to another 8x8 deck over the water for sunning or fishing. The property sits on 17 acres and offers peace and serenity across the water from a large ranch. For larger parties there is another cabin, The Lone Eagle Lodge , which, when available it can sleeps 6 people and is located next door. There is plenty of room for bringing your own boat or you can rent a boat nearby. We have another pier centrally located, that is attached to a floating boat dock for day use to secure your boat while boarding, fishing, or just taking a break from the water. The waterfront is a gradual slope for ease of swimming from your own private beach. Lots of room for the kids to bring their bikes and be able to ride on blacktop drives in an enclosed area and plenty of space to play.. Pets are welcome with a daily pet fee. Of $30 per night per pet. The home is basically a handicapped accessible property with single story living and level enter-ways. This is the perfect "get away" for a small group or larger group by taking both properties.

Family Retreat

My wife, along with our son, his wife, and their 3 young children utilized this property for a long weekend to kick off spring break. We were able to fish, use our kayaks, and let the kids play around the water. The property was just what we needed and had plenty of room inside and outside of the house.

Peaceful on the lake

We were warned that the lake was down 20ft and the owner was so kind and offered a full refund, but we were just happy to return to this beautiful home as we had done in 2008. The house is immaculate. It is in close proximity to local wineries. It is oh so quiet.

Relaxing weekend on the Lake

The whole family loved this place, so beautiful and relaxing. My room faced the porch with pier ; the waves lapping the shore was tranquil. We fished mostly but wished we had taken a boat or something to be in the water. The AC works great as it was very hot in July. The wifi is not very strong but it did not bother us. We really did not leave the property much except to go to HEB in Kingsland and mountain biking nearby. Would definitely love to go back.

Peaceful Getaway

Lovely accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Stars you can get lost in! Not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub, but that’s my only issue. Would visit again.

Quiet weekend

This 3 BR 2 bath lodge with open living, dining, and kitchen, along with washer/dryer, as well as outdoor patio/ deck/ pier on beautiful Lake Buchanan was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. We highly recommend it to others.

Awesome place right on the lake

We had a great time at this wonderful home that is right on the shore of a secluded cove of Buchanan Lake. Our grandkids loved the private beach. The home had everything we needed and we plan on coming here again.

So much fun!

Our family loved this property so much! Once we got there Alan showed us around to give us the ins & outs. First off, the home looked & smelled very clean, and it was so spacious! The pictures do not do it justice. The wifi worked well enough for us, but we hardly used it because we were too busy enjoying the back patio & dock. Even though it rained all weekend that didn’t stop the guys from fishing off the dock. The weather cleared up on our checkout day - Alan & Sherri were so kind & let us stay a little longer to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was hard to come back to west Texas after a weekend like that, but we will definitely be planning another trip to this location in the near future!

Perfect Visit

The cabin is awesome and the location is perfect for day trips to Georgetown, Fredericksburg, & the rest of the Hill Country. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. We are already planning another trip here next year!!

Family get away

Our family get away was unfortunately cut short there and we had to get back home, but we plan to return as soon as possible! The owner Sherri is so gracious and welcomed us immediately! The Crawford property is perfect for all families to get away from it all! I think the pictures didn’t do this place justice! It’s really cute and laid out perfectly for families to relax and kick back at the lake. Kids will enjoy seeing their horses and the deer roaming the property too. Great spot for little ones to splash in the water and fish off the dock. The cabin had everything a family or group would need for cooking, 3 bedrooms, plus one extra twin bed.

Paradise

This is a wonderful property, just what we were looking for to relax. The sunsets were amazing from the back deck, the beach is very large and a nice gradual slope to deeper water. Sherri was very nice and welcoming, I would highly recommend staying here it’s wonderful!

Buchanan beach/pier property

Great stay and great people. We will be returning. There is a small beach in the backyard, and a wonderful pier right off the private deck for fishing. The home was stocked with anything you might need, and clean.

Why they chose this property

We live on 19 acres with over 1000 feet of water front on Lake Buchanan. After several years, we built a Guest House for our family to come primarily over the holidays. Now we want to share this unique property surrounded by the Hill Country to others.

What makes this property unique

We live on 19 acres in the Hill Country. With over 1000 feet of shoreline on Lake Buchanan the view is fantastic. At B&R Lodge there is over a 100 foot pier that reaches out into the lake, perfect for relaxing with that morning cup of coffee or winding down with that evening beverage. In the spring, the wild flowers are beautiful and as the summer progresses, the lake activities with swimming, boating and fishing makes this an all around Great Place to visit.
