Beautiful little town, very comfortable and clean little unit. The bedroom is very spacious and comfortable, as is the rest of the unit with good amenities and beautiful places to walk around close by. My only critique is that while the couch is technically a pull out that can accommodate another two people, it is not worth sleeping on, as is. With a mattress topper it would be fine, but it's hellishly lumpy without. Otherwise a beautiful stay! I would absolutely stay there again, just not with more than one couple.

Spacious basement living area, full kitchen with all necessary equipment in good condition, very clean. Use of laundry facility was appreciated. Initial impression on arrival was off-putting as steep alley entry led to gravel parking area with weedy seating area for a distant, limited ocean view. Entry was through laundry room, very dark so need to turn light switch on to right of door upon entry. Impression improved a lot once opening the door into the living area. Confusion over access instructions required a couple of contacts with the host who quickly supplied information. Conveniently located in center of town, very walkable if you can handle Ladysmith's steep hills! A fine home base for exploring the area.

Host was quick to answer questions prior to our stay. (Didn't have any concerns during our stay) Everything was clean & tidy and as pictured & described. Kids loved the little reading nook and it was a great space when one needed a little quiet time :) Very central for Ladysmith and we were able to walk around lots to Transfer Beach and local restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay

Short visit. Spent most of the time with local friends gathering for a big party and very little time in nicely appointed apartment which is in a partially daylight basement.

This property was great! Exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances/utensils which was perfect - I have dietary restrictions so having a kitchen made cooking my own meal was great! Coffee and tea were available as well as some snacks. Bed and couch were comfy. The free internet was pretty fast! It was nice that there was the ability to watch Netflix even though we didn't use that option. The only small details is some of the utensils were dirty (but could be leftover from the last guests), and sometimes upstairs there was stomping (but also they live up there - and it was always quiet by at least 11pm - just mentioning if you have a kid and/or sound sensitive dog). Would definitely book again, it was a great spot. And being able to bring your dog (up to 50lbs) was HUGE as we were up in Ladysmith for dog sports. Definitely recommend if you're in Ladysmith for a trial as it was 8min from the suite to trial grounds. The suite owners are clearly people who pay attention to big and small details! You can see the care.
