We truly enjoyed our stay at this Maggie Valley cottage. I loved the peaceful surroundings, especially the porches, and my granddaughters enjoyed hanging out downstairs swinging; playing games; and watching TV. We hope to make this stay an annual tradition.

The woods and creek view were beautiful. The home is on a quiet lane and relatively private. The screened in porch with the hammock was exactly what I needed. And the ping pong table was exactly what our children needed. There were a few things that could use some attention. Every night after playing ping pong the kids had to wash the black off their feet bc of how dirty the floor is down there. The hood range doesn’t work at all (one of the lightbulbs even fell out while I was cooking), and the hot tub needs cleaned badly. It had plenty of chemical. But there was grime around the edge. And finally the beds were the hardest beds we’ve ever slept on. This property could have a better rating if a little more care was taken in the small areas.

Really appreciate your honest review . Being a mountain area , it is really hard to fully eradicate this , but we have now placed ant baits inside the house to mitigate this concern. Hopefully your next visit will be a better one.

Awesome family pick!

We stayed for a ski vacation with teenage and young adult children. The downstairs game room was a win/ win! There was plenty of room and entertainment during our stay at the cabin. The hot tub after skiing was a definite plus!

The location was perfect for our girls trip. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We did not utilize the basement games but it would be perfect for a family with children. We did use the jacuzzi. Worked perfectly and was a great feature to have. Our only complaint was the mattresses. They were very firm. Communication was exceptional and ease of entrance was great.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our vacation. Property is clean and neat and had everything we need. Convenient location that close to the main road, stores, restaurants, tubing and skiing. It was easy to access the property. There is a creek that streams downstairs. You can see and hear it from the porch and also take stairs down. Kids enjoyed to explore it. Also, house has a lot of games to spend time with. Highly recommend the property for family getaway.
