This place was awesome for our family of 8, but the only downside is the kitchen isn't great for cooking.

Comfortable quiet place with friendly host. Easy parking and access. Smaller kitchen which was fine for us since we did only takeout and eat out. Large space with many beds for a large group.

Add was listed as entire house but we only got the basement. owner came up with new rules after we checked in, complained multiple times almost every hour, knocked on the door multiple times at night to complain; borderline harassment throughout the entire night. He demanded to come inside and made us uncomfortable. Was watching us from the second we checked in. The place was clean at first glance, quickly noticed how dirty and sticky everything was. There were even cockroaches and earwigs in corners of the house, wasn’t able to enjoy the night at all. Would highly recommend staying away from this nightmare of a host and his filthy basement.

An important point that is not in the listing, you have to walk down a hill to get in this basement unit. My mom can go up and down stairs that are to code, but the "stairs" built into the hill are not for someone that is handicapped with a walker or can.The kitchenette is lacking, we were not able to cook effectively. There is not a temp control in this basement so you have to rely on the own changing the temp.Host communication was good, but I would have preferred to get the image of the steps when I booked the listing. It was clean and had very basic amenities. Good for overnights that will be spending most of your time away in the city.
