Cosy Travellers Stay Near the Beach (shared & affordable)

O’m offering a private room in my cosy home at Christies Beach, South Australia—a perfect spot for travellers looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.
I haven’t travelled much myself, so I thought—why not bring the travellers to me?

This space has everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. You’ll have access to all the essentials, plus a few extras to make your visit feel just right.

Suits people traveling for work, or traveling Australia for holidays.

Pricing & Guests
* $89 - $115 per night - discounts for week long stays. 2 night minimum.
(Connect first about children as I only have a small extra fold out bed)
* Maximum occupancy: Flexible, but the room is ideal for singles, or couples).

About the Space
The house is shared with me and my old-man dog, Buddy—he’s a sweetheart! 
It’s a safe, welcoming space where you can cook, relax, and experience everyday Aussie life.

Your Room
* Listed as “Bedroom 1” on Stayz/VRBO
* Option to add a fold-out bed for a kiddo
* I have board games, and an outdoor play area with a slide, treehouse, and swings (no tv but my data projector can be used
* Sturdy Queen bed
* Various shelves and laundry items

House Amenities
✅ Full kitchen access, including a guest mini-fridge

✅ Cooking appliances:
* Stainless steel pots & frypans, ovenware
* Air fryer, sandwich press, food processor, microwave

✅ Shared pantry items: Condiments & spices available for use

✅ BBQ available (great for outdoor meals!)
✅ Laundry access (washing machine & fresh towels for a week)
✅ Fast, free internet

✅ Smoking permitted in the backyard
✅ (Coffee lovers: I currently have a French press, but a coffee machine is coming soon!)
✅ Hot water to die for and a deep bath!

Cleaning & House Rules
* High hygiene standards—bed sheets & towels washed at 60°C/140°F
* Deep cleaning regularly maintained
* Main rule: Please clean up after yourself and always close the gate to keep Buddy safe!

* The front yard is now tidy (grass is struggling with summer, though!)
* Kitchen table is now a large wooden one and the one pictured is outside
* The Kitchen picture with the shelf on the left is one area for food storage and a mini fridge is now near the stove
