Location was perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, markets, art shows, etc. Being pet friendly was critical to us. House was very large, backyard also large for cornhole and fire and for pets. Beds were comfortable. AC was also important to have. Kitchen big and plenty of room. Little things like new kitchen sponge, like plenty of towels, spray for bathroom smells, etc, all great things to have.

Great location! Easy walk to the beach and to town. It had all the amenities our family needed with a fully stocked kitchen and the shed with beach chairs and sports equipment for the kids to play with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A party of seven adult family members and one dog, we loved our stay at The Porch. It was in a quiet neighborhood convenient to all the many attractions of Ludington, within walking distance of downtown. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals together, we were abundantly supplied with towels, and we loved hanging out on the very well-furnished and comfortable porch. We were delighted by regular evening backyard visitors of a family of deer. The weather was perfect for our trip. The owners were very responsive to our questions and requests. It is an older multi-level property, so has some areas that may not be friendly for unsupervised children or seniors who are a bit unsteady on their feet.

Home Away From Home

The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you might need to cook. Fridge was nice and big. Loved the bar space for kids to sit and to use as extra counter space. Loved power strips for plenty of outlets.Back yard was very private and we enjoyed the fire pit.Location is good. One complaint was just the uneven flooring from room to room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A+ for location, front porch, yard with fire pit. We had a rain day so the games came in handy. Comfortable beds and charging stations in every room! Kitchen had everything you need except a coffee maker with big pot. (Only had a Kurig) Had to purchase a big pot at Walmart. Wish the kitchen was bigger with more counter space. Popcorn room lightbulb out and that was the only light in that room. We would definitely stay here again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quick easy walk to downtown Ludington. Fully equipped and stocked kitchen. About 12 min walk to Stearns beach. I would rent again. My only complaint was that there wasn't a lock on the first floor bathroom door. When you have large group that would've been nice. But other than that, no complaints. Private backyard was great too.
