Nice period hotel, with lots of period features, very comfortable in a quiet location with plenty of off street parking. Great friendly staff. Nice bar with plenty of choice of food & drinks. Will certainly use again.
Nice quirky old property. Very clean, comfy beds. We had a couple of issues on arrival but was dealt with by staff quickly and very satisfactory. All staff were friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast available for reasonable extra charge on booking, very nice and well worth it.
Would definitely stay again if in the area
This place looks special
Thought I was booking a hotel room but standard rooms are located outside in a courtyard . tiny room
Restaurant was closed
Lack of atomosphere
Asked if dining as food was closing early
Decided to go to pub over the road who made us feel more welcome
Very pleasant place to stay - visit was for a cycle event so a comfortable relaxing environment was much appreciated.
Room was clean and everything worked.
Staff friendly and helpful.
The actual hotel looked lovely but our room was in a brick out building behind the car park. It smelled quite musty, the single beds were pretty small and the bathroom was outdated with a toilet seat that barely fitted or was fitted wrongly.
Stayed for a week and we absolutely loved it! The hotel has great historical significance and maintains a lot of its OG character and charm. The service was excellent and personal. We also had English breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed.
