Good value in Bourges

Attractive 19 century chateau with good parking on site. But the car park covering is gravel and clay which is very messy when wet. The room while spacious was an obvious and not very attractive carve up or a grand room. Excellent and very helpful and friendly receptionist. Very reasonable price. Would stay again.

Chateau de Lazenay er et dejligt hotel at bo på. Jeg har været der mange gange tidligere, og nyder det hver eneste gang. Dog er jeg ikke begejstret for hovedpuden, der er så høj, at jeg nærmest skal bruge stige, så denne gang valgte jeg at tage min egen hovedpude med. Det er det samme - yderst hjælpsomme - personale, der er der år efter år. Det må også betyde, at det er en god arbejdsplads. Morgenmaden er ganske udmærket i al sin enkelhed. Der er det, der er brug for, og ikke alt muligt andet. Og det er jeg glad for! Der er en god stemning på Slottet, som man bemærker, så snart man træder ind ad døren. Rengøring er rigtig god, og man kan mærke entusiasmen i arbejdet. Haven er velholdt, og der er en smuk udsigt over søen fra værelserne. Til den side. Til den anden side er slotskirken, der er det eneste ved stedet, der ikke er velholdt. Jeg glæder mig allerede til at komme tilbage næste år! Og året efter!

Beautiful location

Excellent place to stay, had axworry about time of arrival but phone call to the hotel was reassuring. Spoke to a lovely lady who's English was fantastic, big thank you to Manuela. Quiet, clean and relaxing cannot fault the place.

Nous avions un peu de retard et la personne à l'accueil s'est souciée de notre heure d'arrivée. Nous avons été très bien accueillies et conseillées pour se restaurer (système de livraison, évitant de ressortir). Le cadre est plaisant, au calme et disposant d'un parking. La chambre est très propre, la literie (grand lit) confortable, la salle d'eau agréable. Nous étions dans une chambre pour 3, plus proche d'une chambre pour 2 personnes. Mais elle était pourvue d'une kitchenette, avec 2 plaques électrique et un petit évier, bien pratique pour qui se contente d'une dînette. Je recommanderai cette adresse.

One of our best stays ever. Mgr Florien picked us up when we could not find the house. Carried our bags upstairs. We got an upgrade to the best room. It was sensational! Booked & recommended a restaurant in Carassonne. An incredible breakfast (11 diff French cheeses!). Incredibly helpful with local knowledge. A chateau size property; lawns, pool. A beautfilly restored chapel. We HAVE to come back. Six stars!!

Confort parfait et respect du site historique

Ce n'est pas la 1ère fois que nous faisons une halte au Château de Lazenay et c'est toujours avec plaisir et nous repartons avec un bon souvenir de notre sejour. Cette fois, nous avions la chambre 10. Parfaite, vue sur le lac, propreté irréprochable. Décoration très harmonieuse entre le confort moderne et le charme de l'ancien. Oui, il y a une kitchenette, il suffit de demander les ustensiles à la réception dès l'arrivée, c'est simple et pratique. Parking très facile à l'intérieur de la propriété. Accueil très souriant. WiFi très correct. Salle de bain toute neuve. Calme, repos et détente assurés. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Grande chambre, petit lit mais matelas correct. Par contre la salle de petit déjeuner est bruyante (chaises traînées), buffet minimaliste et impossible de couper cette satanée télé ! Il paraît que ce sont les consignes des propriétaires, que les clients souhaitent s'informer en déjeunant... Et tant pis pour ceux qui souhaitent déjeuner en paix, sans pub et autres niaiseries du matin ! Mais le contrat avec BFM TV a ses raisons, financières je suppose, insupportable !

si vous voulez passer un séjour agréable , ne prenez pas une chambre au RDC ,problème de refoulement de la cuvette W.C ou de remontées d'excréments ,ce qui d'après la réception est normal a cet étage !!!! Autrement tout est bien . Dommage
