Nice place

Overall, property was clean and was in a good location. The property manager met us at the front door to let us in and gave us some tips as to how to visit Porto. I didn't receive information about how to check-in until the day of versus most other VRBOs usually send information a few days before.

The listing was a bit misleading. We thought there were 5 bedrooms but there were 3 plus the living room. The kitchen supplies are VERY limited and the WiFi didn’t work at all.

Perfect little spot for the 5 of us

Nice clean place near everything. We walked to the water multiple times (20 mins) and found plenty of great places to eat. If you can manage to walk the hills in Porto then you’ll be good to go everywhere.

Wonderful location

3 friends perfect aparment for a weekend in Porto. Owner was so helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage on arrival which let us fully enjoy our first day

Great space in a good area!

The unit’s location was convenient to public transportation, restaurants and some tourist attractions. The unit itself fit my family’s needs with 2 bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. Our host, John, was quick to reply whenever we reached out. It was overall a great stay!

Great location in Porto. Comfortable apartment and very clean. A little noisy street-side, but earplugs worked great. Would stay again.

Our family had a lovely stay in Porto. This apartment was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable for four adults. The location was a short walk to Bolhao and other places of interest! The property manager communicated with us about our stay and was responsive to our needs! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing apartment

Could not fault the stay in this apartment. Beautifully presented and has everything you need (except scissors!) Host was really helpful once we contacted them via telephone when we arrived. No communication from host prior to this. Overall would highly recommend these apartments

Great apartment!

Great location and lovely apartment! Check in was seamless. The apartment is beautiful and clean, the only complaint is that given the location it’s really loud at night - bring ear plugs! However, the location was amazing so it was worth the trade off. Walk to so many restaurants and shops. Great stay!

A Perfect Porto Apartment

Apartment Invicta Soul Joy is a small three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment located within walking distance of major shopping, market, restaurants, monuments and other central Porto sights. Host Joao was very flexible concerning our arrival time and provided helpful information about the surrounding neighborhood. There is a great breakfast restaurant located in the same block on the corner.

Absolutely horrendous. Do not book here. Do not book any properties from this owner. We didn’t even end staying here. We were sent to a different address. The apartment we stayed in didn’t have 2 baths and there was no outdoor space. On two of the mornings at 8:30 am we were awakened by jack hammers doing construction on the building we were staying in. While the owner denied it was the same building, it was most certainly attached. I have the videos to confirm this. Owner was awful. Told me he wouldn’t compensate me for a mistake in their end because I contacted VRBO.

Perfect space and location for our family!

Couple with three older children. Nice building. Perfect space, three double beds and couch, kitchen with space for all to sit, one bathroom. Hosts left beautiful port for us. Nespresso machine with pods. Walking was perfect to all major areas, especially shopping, dining and cathedrals. Parking garage at hotel with reasonable public parking about a block away.

Got the job done.

Our family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights. Check in was very easy and the host met us at the property which was nice. The house was very clean and the location is wonderful. Our only complaint was the size of the apartment. It is very small. This apartment would be perfect for 3 or 4 people but super tight when sharing rooms. Also have the host go over unlocking the apartment door with you before she leaves it’s tricky.

Although the apartment was fine it did not match the pictures of the place we reserved. Most importantly it did not have two bathrooms as per our reservation details. The apartment was clean but not well equipped…not enough towels,

We didn't get any communication from the host until the day before check-in that we contacted him to let him know what time we would likely to arrive. He responded to that.During the check-in day, we contacted the host again to let him know our exact arrival time, but didn't get any reply from him until 10 min before we were at the door steps.The didn't get the apartment we booked for, the one with 2 bathrooms. The host said, that apartment had water leaks problem, so he assigned us to another similar one in the same apartment block, but with only one bathroom, however with aircon in each bedroom (our original one was supposed to have one room without aircon?)...The apartment looked newly renovated, quiet and clean. The kitchen seems not very well equipped (we didn't cook though), didn't have bowls for cereal (just plates & cups & utensils) and we didn't figure out how to use the oven to warm up some egg tarts.The bathroom didn't have place to hang clothes and had only one liquid soap.The location is right at the border of the center of actions, 5 min walk to the market and grocery stores.One convenience store of some sort right opposite and an asian restaurant almost right beside.The one way road of the apartment was very busy, so park at the 15 min load/unloading parking a few house numbers before for luggage.We saw shattered car window glasses by the road side (our car window was smashed in Florence & we recognised that), so we parked at a parking garage nearby.

Nice location; a few issues with stay

Three of my childhood friends and I stayed here for our 40th birthday celebration. First, the location was superb and within walking distance to the best parts of the city. Two of the bedrooms and the living area were wonderful- great beds, and the couch even was comfortable. Each room had blackout shades/shutters, and 2 full bathrooms worked well for four women. However, one of the rooms was underneath some loud tenants who seemed to be moving furniture all night each night we were there. We also did have some difficulty in communication at times- hosts were slow to respond and we had to use our taxi driver’s phone to call them upon landing, since we did not have international phones and are from the US. Check-in was rushed, and we were told we needed to provide tax monies in cash or to provide them with our bank account information. This seemed odd to all of us, but we provided the cash. Upon speaking to a tour guide the next day, we were told we were scammed- that it should all have been handled through the app. We also had an ant problem in the apartment, and the hosts took two days to reply to us about this. Overall; it is a great location and worked for us, but communication could have been improved, and we felt swindled.
