The property is absolutely beautiful, behind a secured gate you walk down a gravel path that picturesque . It’s lovely because there’s so much open area, including olive groves. The apartment was exactly as pictured, very clean and had almost everything we needed. There wasn’t enough hand soap in the bathroom, the container was empty upon arrival and there was one small roll of toilet paper, but we went out and bought some, it was no problem. The hosts were very responsive and arranged taxis for us which we really appreciated. They also made restaurant recommendations which were OK not great but still appreciate it. I would advise that if you have allergies to Cottonwood trees not to travel here during the months of March April, or May, the Cottonwood tree covered the grounds with white fluff and unfortunately, I was very allergic. But as soon as we left the property, I was totally fine so we managed. The skylight is the whole entire roof of the property and on our last night it malfunctioned and was opening on its own and would not stay closed. So that means we had bright light early in the morning which didn’t make for great sleeping. I notified the owner and they said they would address this issue. Other than that, it was a very lovely stay. Florence is one beautiful city!
