¡Despierta por la mañana y desayuna en el balcón soleado con vistas al río Tajo!

El apartamento tiene capacidad para 4 personas y se encuentra a poca distancia de los lugares turísticos más populares de Lisboa (Castillo de San Jorge, Panteón Nacional, etc.)
¡Sigue siendo uno de los pocos barrios que no ha perdido su verdadera esencia portuguesa!

¡En la puerta de tu casa tienes tiendas de comestibles locales, tiendas y la estación de metro Santa Apolónia está bajando la calle!
Para los que vienen en coche, hay un aparcamiento público gratuito en el exterior.

El apartamento ha sido completamente renovado. Tiene un balcón súper acogedor con vista al río perfecto para disfrutar de una bebida al sol :)
Cuenta con 2 habitaciones (1 cama doble y 2 camas individuales) que pueden alojar cómodamente a 4 adultos. También hay una cuna de viaje para acomodar a un bebé.
Está totalmente equipado, tiene excelente WiFi.

Básicamente puedes caminar a todas partes desde el apartamento, estás en un centro histórico.

A wonderful place to stay to see Lisbon

We had a brilliant stay for our week in Lisbon. The apartment was a great size for our family and we loved the balcony. The location allows exploration of the city but be prepared to walk some hills! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect

The property was ideally located for walking into the city to sightsee. It was also close to a metro line for further trips. The property was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this property unless you can't walk up hills. Excellent.

Excellent place!

Vivian’s apartment is super comfortable and well decorated. The beds are those great memory foam type mattresses, the pillows have perfect amount of loft, and the sofa and easy chair provide ultimate comfort. In addition the apartment location is an excellent - a normal neighborhood outside but adjacent to the tourist area of the Alfama. Metro and train are a 10 minute walk and bus line stops on the corner. Grocery market also on corner as is cafe and laundry. What could be better?

Lovely apartment, wonderful host

We stayed 3 nights at this 2BR apartment. We appreciated the proximity to the attractions but the area itself is not touristy. Vivi was great to communicate with before our stay and gave helpful information about transportation from the airport etc. The apartment had everything we needed (a supply of coffee much appreciated!). The road noise is a bit loud for those sleeping in the bedroom with the double bed, but it settled down overnight. All in all, I would stay there again if we visit Lisbon in the future.

Wonderful neat and clean apt with a bit of a water view from the balcony. Was a bit confusing on how to remotely open the door, but it turned out to be very easy once we figured it out. Appreciated the coffee for the machine and owner had an informative folder with suggestions on restaurants and things to do! Only negative, which I’ve found in other Portuguese rentals, they do not provide much in terms of basic items, ie toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen towels…

Vivian was helpful, especially when our car got towed. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location unfortunately is not close to any Lisbon sites or even the quaint touristy parts of Alfama with shops and restaurants. You have to take an Uber or walk a long way to get there. The neighborhood is old and somewhat run down, and the noise from traffic is awfully loud for living room and street side bedroom. It’s advisable not to bring a car, because the parking lot is far and parking on street is complicated.

Lisbon vacation

We were 2 adult couples. We enjoyed the property because it was newly renovated, very close to public transport, and had a super-convenient check in process. It’s important to note that the bedroom on the street side gets a lot of traffic noise. You need to sleep with the windows closed or wear earplugs. Also, this rental company did not make us aware of the Lisbon tourist tax in their listing or during the billing process. We were asked to pay an extra fee 2 days before check in. Needless to say, it was an unwelcome surprise right before arriving.

Four days in Lisbon apartment

The apartment is clean and functional, but very basic. We did find the location on a busy street noisy and didn’t enjoy using the patio or having the patio door open much at all. Much too loud. Overall the apartment needs some care to repair a bathroom drawer that always rolls open (annoying!), a very worn table top and a few small things. Would have loved a couple more small tables as the furnishings are sparse. Didn’t feel it was especially hospitable -only a single tea towel and bath towels were bit old. Coffee and machine was provided and that was appreciated. The host Vivi is lovely and responsive.

A bit of bad luck

To preface this our host was really lovely and available to us for questions and were it not for her I would likely have given only 3 stars. She has created an awesome guide for the city and neighbourhood which we used on several occasions. She was unfortunately unwell when we arrived putting a damper on my comfort communicating with her and perhaps the reason she didn't vommhjucate some issues to us. The apartment is small but adequate under normal circumstances. We had an issue with some of the cleanliness which was addressed quickly. Unfortunately when we arrived the washing machine for clothes was broken (missing the glass/plastic panel in the door) which we immediately told our host. Unfortunately the solution was what I already knew, we would be using the coin laundry across the street and this was not communicated before we got in and due to having 2 young children part of the reason I chose this apartment was the access to laundry and a dishwasher. The neighbourhood is quiet, on the end of the metro line. We really loved the market across the street and the cafe a little further down (suggestions from the guide). With our 6 and 8 year-old we also had fun finding the fastest way up from the metro station and larger grocery store. Anyway, overall a few inconveniences and bad luck but I suspect under normal conditions a stay at Vivi's apartment is a really lovely time. Her guide is fantastic and she seems to really care about creating an experience for her guests. Bad luck and perhaps a difficult guest before us let her down.

Comfortable living, close to sights but out of the touristy area

We had a lovely stay at Sao Vincente and would stay here again. Our host, Vivian, did a terrific job keeping in touch with us before, during and after our stay, to ensure we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double/queen bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is in between the two bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning but there was a fan, which was enough for the June weather. A nice breeze flows through the apartment when the windows are open. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle. There are dishes and enough pots and pans to get by for simple meals. Small shops are nearby with all the essentials needed. The balcony has a beautiful view of the river. We ate breakfast out there two days and enjoyed it. I like that the apartment is out of the busy tourist area, Alfama, yet close enough to walk to it within 15 minutes. It is also an easy walk down the hill to the boardwalk along the river. We did a 6 mile walk to Belem Tower from our apartment along the river, then took an Uber home, and it was lovely. Lisbon is situated on a hill so there is no getting around having to walk up hill many times during your stay. That said, after a couple trips up the hill it was no problem for us. Uber cars are very easy to get and inexpensive (compared to USA prices) and we used them often to get around to other areas of the city easily. We arranged with Vivian to have a driver pick us up from the airport, and I would recommend doing that if you’re not familiar with the city. Our driver was very helpful answering several questions we had. He picked us up from inside the airport. He was in touch directly with Vivian and helped us into the apartment building, to ensure we got in safely. All in all, it was a comfortable stay and I would recommend it.

Très beau séjour!

Appartement impeccable, situé sur une ligne d’autobus qui mène en ville. Nous avons eu un parc pour bébé et une chaise haute. Petit balcon très apprécié. Lit confortable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé. Vu que nous sommes une petite famille, j’aurais pris 2-3 linges à vaiselle et torchons de plus, il n’y en avait seulement un. et des essuies-tout, et autres essentiels du genre (grand balai, sacs à poubelle). Un soir tard, nous avons eu de la difficulté à trouver un stationnement car tous pleins, mais sinon tout était parfait! Vivian était facile à rejoindre en cas de nécessité.

Wonderful apartment and great location with perfect host

Apartment had everything we needed and our lovely host Vivi was close at hand if we needed anything else. Location was amazing and unlike a previous reviewer, we found the local services part of the experience, helping make the stay more genuine. Local shops were a short walk for supplies and even dining, whether cheap Portuguese or a not so cheap but still authentic Portuguese. The information booklet provided by Vivi had so much information we needed for dining, sightseeing and more and was so handy. The apartment was ideal for us. Morning coffee and afternoon drinks on the balcony. In between we spent the days exploring and the walk although steep at times was not too far from some of the main sights. Public transport, taxis and Uber are obvious options for those not wanting to walk and are cheap options. All in all we really loved our time in Lisbon and would come back in a heartbeat. If this apartment is available next time this is where we will be staying. Thank you Vivi for helping make our stay so enjoyable

A Lovely Apartment, Wonderful Host, Not the Perfect Location

We stayed five lovely nights at this 2BR apartment, which is in a real Lisbon neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from the Santa Apolonia metro/train station. ViVi, our host, was the real star of our stay - she met us at the apartment and was warm, friendly, and super accessible via WhatsApp throughout our trip - with terrific restaurant recommendations, advice on the apartment, guidance on sightseeing, and getting about town. There was a printed and digital guide to the neighborhood and the City with great recommendations for coffee, pastry, gelato, supermarkets, and a few restaurants we would love to have tried with more time. There is a reliable bus (the 735) that goes down to the station (and to Cais de Sodre train/ferry beyond), and the heart of Alfama and La Graça and their fabulous viewpoints are each about a 15 minute walk from the apt. down and up some of Lisbon’s famous steep hills. For our first trip, we might have liked to stay a little closer to sights and sounds. We often tracked back to the apartment to have a shower and get ready for dinner before going out again. The apartment was comfortable - a nice queen bed - and well equipped, with great water pressure in the bathroom. We were there in late July, so it ran a little hot at night. There is a fan in the bedroom. But with windows open, we heard the 735 bus and other big cars and trucks headed up our hill in first gear late into the morning hours. The shutters help with that noise (as they seem to be everywhere in Lisbon), but not with air circulation! All in all a very successful trip, and we are very appreciative of how good care ViVi took of us. Obrigado!

Lage gut, aber insgesamt nicht guten Gewissens weiter zu empfehlen

positive Punkten: Kommunikation war gut. Zur Begrüßung stand eine Flasche Weißwein auf dem Tisch. Dankeschön Die Lage des Apartments ist wirklich gut: ein Stadtteil abseits der meisten Touristenströme, man hat das Gefühl, das Eben der Einwohner ein wenig authentischer zu erleben. Allerdings ist die Station St. Appolonia nicht - wie in der deutschen Beschreibung zu lesen - direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite, sondern ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg (steil bergab) entfernt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle, wo ganztägig Busse verkehren. Der 735er Bus hat uns gute Dienste geleistet! Was für uns nicht gepasst hat, war insbesondere die Schlafsituation. Leider haben wir bei der Buchung nicht darauf geachtet, dass die Wohnung keine Klimaanlage hat (unser Fehler), was aber zumindest in den Sommermonaten ein wirkliches Problem ist. Es gibt zwar einen kleinen Lüfter, der reicht aber bei weitem nicht aus, um in den beiden kleinen Schlafzimmern für ein angenehmes Schlafklima zu sorgen. Also hilft nur Fenster aufmachen, aber das war selbst uns zu laut (wir sind eigentlich nicht empfindlich): man hat das Gefühl, dass die Busse, besonders wenn sie sich bergauf quälen durchs Schlafzimmer donnern, mehrfach wöchentlich kommt gegen 23:30 h die Müllabfuhr, die noch lauter ist. Zusätzlich wurden wir jeden Morgen von Baulärm aus dem Hinterhof geweckt. Hier scheint gerade ein Haus saniert zu werden: unser Eindruck: Fertigstellung kann dauern. Zur Wohnung insgesamt: wir hatten den Eindruck, dass man hier mal eben schnell alles Touristen-tauglich hergerichtet hat, ohne vielleicht selbst zu hinterfragen, ob alles so praktikabel ist. Auf Reinigung wurde nur oberflächlich Wert gelegt. Nachfolgend ein paar Eindrücke, die jeder für sich auszuhalten wären, in der Summe fanden wir sie dann aber nicht ok: - Nachttische und Teil vom Küchenregal waren eingestaubt, so dass wir diese erstmal selbst reinigen mussten - kein Tuch zum Tischabwischen + Geschirrtrocknen - Küchenausstattung knapp: 4 Trinkgläser für 4 Personen, kein Sieb, keine Kelle - empfohlene Kaffeekapseln passten nicht in Maschine - Waschmaschine: Fach für Waschpulver lässt sich nur einen Spalt öffnen, da die seitliche Blende vom Einbauschrank davor ist - Klobürste ist eine Katastrophe: total verdreckt - Schublade Bad lässt sich nicht schließen - Tür hinteres Zimmer schwer schließbar wegen Teppich - Balkonmöbel SEHR wackelig, Kunstbambus total staubig - sehr weiche Matratzen

Wundervolle Tage Im ursprünglichen Lissabon!

Superschöne saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft in einem tollen Stadtteil mit Blick auf den Fluss. Für vier Personen ideal. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war super (danke Vivi)! Die Familie ist rundum glücklich und zufrieden! Sehr zu empfehlen!
