It was perfectly located right in the middle of the Gothic part of town. Great access to restaurants, bars and plenty of action, just minutes from the beach and Las Ramblas. Our entire family loved it!

Terrific Apartment. Fantastic location

Loved our stay here. The apt is large (6 beds!), clean, charming, with fast WiFi, and amazingly well located. I would stay again anytime and you will enjoy staying here as well.

Family Vacation in Barcelona

We had a great time in Barcelona. The apartment is right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter within easy walking distance to many restaurants. We didn’t find the area too noisy at night. Easy check in and the gentleman checking us gave us a number of recommendations for restaurants that were all excellent. Would recommend this VRBO.

This place is perfectly located to really take full advantage of Barcelona. Check in was seamless. The flat was spacious, bright, and clean. The large common area is very cosy, we loved to come back home after long day outside. Great place with a great host!!!

Great location

Location was amazing, plenty of space for the whole family. The only downside was the street noise below the bedroom windows from people congregating outside the bar. Some nights it was tough to block out even with white noise. Once the bar closed early morning it was fine.

Ideal location and beautiful apartment

We had a phenomenal stay in this beautiful, spacious apartment in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The location was excellent—we could walk almost everywhere. Guille provided great restaurant, café, and rooftop bar recommendations that really enhanced our experience. While the bar on the ground floor is quite loud until around 1 AM, it didn't bother us since we're sound sleepers, but light sleepers might want to take note.

That flat was terrific. The location was perfect (literally in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, with bars, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and markets all around), the flat was very clean and in good shape, the kitchen was well-stocked (although note there's no real oven, just a small combo microwave/regular oven), and Guille (who greeted us) made us feel very much at home, including by providing good local tips. We would gladly stay here again.

Perfect Location

The flat was nice enough, spacious but a bit dark. The location was amazing though - it doesn’t get better. The stairs were rough with suitcases, so keep that in mind when booking here. Also only one a/c unit worked. Overall I’d stay here again.

Jody's place is great! Location is perfect, in the city center and walking distance to main touristic attractions. The apartment is comfortable, with many beds for big families or group of friends. We had all the necessary kitchen equipment, clean sheets and towels. Our check in was great, we received nice tips for restaurants for dinner, which we appreciated! Jody is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I highly reccomend her appartment and I will come back for sure!

Great location

The property was very well located. Excellent communication with property manager. Was very accommodating with our later check in. Place was nice. Some appliance (coffee machine) did not work. Bathrooms and shower was showing signs of age. Overall clean and furnished.

Excellent Location

From the moment we booked our stay in Barcelona we were excited about the location. It could not have been any better. Short walk to everything in and around the Gothic Quarter. Guille was very accommodating even with our delayed flight. There are markets, great restaurants and the kids enjoyed all of the Topping Circus locations and bakeries. The apartment is a great size for a family. We had 4 and it felt palatial. Laundry was a huge plus for us and it’s on the second floor so not hard to climb a few flights. Would highly recommend this place.

Great stay in the Gothic

Great apartment right in the center of the Gothic Quarter with plenty of sleeping space and many helpful amenities for an extended stay including a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Right outside the apartment are 3 bars and an Italian bakery and you're less than 500 feet from a handful of restaurants, markets, and a bike/scooter rental shop. The beaches of Barceloneta, La Rambla, multiple parks, and the entirety of the Gothic Quarter are all a short walk away. I would gladly stay again when I return to Barcelona.

Great spot

The place was great, but we did not feel safe in the neighborhood at night. Ubers would not go into the neighborhood. Thankfully we were three guys and we’re fine on our own.

Fabulous apartment

Great apartment in the center of the gothic quarter! Apartment was so nice, plenty of room for our family of four. You have to walk through the quarter with luggage as you can’t drive directly so if you are a heavy packer, this might not be the best choice but we loved the location! It can get a little loud at night with the bars but we slept fine with fans on. Guille was great when he let us in, showing us how everything worked and sent a list of recommendations too!

Perfect for vacation

I stayed here with for a week's vacation with my children ages 11 and 14. We had the absolute best time. This location is incredible: right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter with restaurants, bars, plazas, and shopping just steps from the door. You can walk to just about everything: the beach, the Picasso Museum, to the funicular to Monjuic, the cathedral, Casa Batlló, and other fun neighborhoods with great shopping and restaurants. The flat was clean, provided plenty of linens, and has a great shower. Two of the bedrooms face the courtyard and it's loud late into the night, but with fans (provided) or white noise played on our phone we were able to sleep easily. Guille, our contact, was easy to communicate with and made check in very smooth even with some delays on our part. We were sad to leave and hope to stay here again someday!

Great hosts

Hosts: The hosts were excellent communicators, and they promptly attend to our needs. Property: The property was accurate as described. Note that there is no elevator, so we needed to climb two flights of stairs to reach the flat. We are grateful for the host's assistance bringing our luggage up the stairs as well as their flexibility for a late night check-in. Location: Our only concern was with the neighborhood. The streets of the Gothic Quarter are too narrow for most vehicles, which made it a challenge to order cabs as well as transport luggage. The neighborhood has a strong bar scene, which may or may not appeal to guests. We did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood, even late at night.

Nice size apartment in Gothic Quarters

This is a great apartment in a great location. Guille was very responsive to our request and things were taken care of the very next day. Walking distance to alot of great restaurants, Las Rambla, and beach. The only issue is there are two bars below the apartment and there's usually a loud crowd just outside of your window and this goes on till 3am almost every night which will keep you up if you are a light sleeper, and city workers start at 7am, so it tough to get a good night's rest. If you're not a light sleeper, then this place is perfect for larger groups as there's plenty of room and it's a comfortable apartment. Two bathrooms is a plus and the apartment is pretty secured. If you book this place, you will need to pay for it thru Canela Homes website as they are a large property management company that manages alot of properties and have a separate booking system.
