Después de una renovación completa de la cocina y el baño que terminó en 2018, esta encantadora casa de 4 dormitorios se encuentra en 48 Pelican Bay dentro de la exclusiva comunidad turística de Wild Dunes. La casa está situada en una calle sin salida privada y tranquila, a poca distancia de la playa y de la piscina comunitaria privada de Pelican Bay.

El primer nivel contiene una acogedora sala de estar con muebles nuevos, el comedor y la cocina. La cocina y el comedor fueron ampliados y completamente renovados. Es un plano de planta abierto y luminoso para disfrutar de la hermosa decoración. Hay un dormitorio con una cama matrimonial y baño completo en el primer piso. Se accede al baño desde el pasillo. También hay una gran terraza cubierta y porche, ambos accesibles desde el área de la sala de estar.

Las otras tres habitaciones, con ropa de cama variada, se encuentran en el segundo piso. La suite principal tiene una cama queen con un gran baño privado. Las dos habitaciones adicionales, una con una cama King y otra con dos camas individuales, comparten un baño al que se accede desde el pasillo. También hay una gran cubierta abierta en este nivel. Las cubiertas de arriba y abajo son maravillosas para entretener y disfrutar del aire libre. 48 Pelican Bay es una casa elevada que permite estacionamiento y almacenamiento debajo.

Vacation

Great property in Isle of Palms SC, location was great only a couple blocks from the beach. The vrbo was very comfortable and in a nice quit neighborhood.

Overall good experience

The house is in a great location and the neighbors are very friendly. We love visiting Wild Dunes every year and look forward to each stay. We have used Sweetgrass properties in the past and have never had an issue. However, this time the cleanliness of the property was less than ideal. The floors were visibly dirty and we found food and empty water bottles under and behind furniture. Honestly, it looked like no one cleaned the place before we arrived. To the credit of Sweetgrass they did answer my calls quickly and, on a Sunday, (totally unexpected) and scheduled someone to come and clean the floors. Very responsive and very professional. Bottomline: The rental needs some love and updating. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. We would stay in other Sweetgrass managed properties.

HOUSE NEEDS CLEANING, Porch was dusty and dirty

Enjoyed the location to beach. Porch needs a thorough cleaning and carpeting needs cleaning or replacing. Bottom outside step and platform need repairing. Never spoke with manager.

Great Experience

There were 4 of us for a "Girls Trip". Everything was just as described and very clean. Our favourite area was the screened in porch. When we weren't at the beach, we were on the porch. Quiet neighbourhood and a great walking area. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Trip! Perfect Location!

The house was the perfect place for a girls' weekend with an open floor plan and a screened-in porch. It had everything we needed and was only a short walk to the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean and comfortable. The screened-in porch provided plenty of space for 8 adults to spread out. Having a beach wagon made it easy to transport all our beach gear.

Cozy beach house a short walk from the ocean

Our family and friends enjoyed being in the Pelican Bay section of Wild Dunes, with such an easy walk to the beach and a relaxing porch to unwind on when we returned. The open kitchen and access to a grill made meal prep easy and fun.

Such a cute place for a family getaway!

Really nice people and place! Loved the screened porch and bright kitchen space the most. Made good use of the outdoor shower after the quick trip to the beach fir fun and sun!

Nice place

Clean and up-to-date place. Only two things that were challenging...(1) Only one key to the house so you have to constantly keep up with who has it(Key pad with an access code is much easier), and, (2) Parking was difficult. We had three cars and you constantly have to shuffle them around.

Great house, about a 3 minute walk to the beach. House was perfect size! The only suggestion I would have is to remember to bring a sponge to clean dishes in the kitchen.

Lovely home

Pelican Bay was a very clean, updated home that was cozy. The rooms appear a bit larger in the online pictures. There is a walk to the beach that would be much easier with a golf cart as the beach area only allows golf cart parking, so with a lot of stuff and kids in tow it's a little bit of a hike..& if there is a pop up storm you have to scramble to get back in time. The pool was very crowded as expected during 4th of July week but at least it was in the neighborhood. Also, the house is nice but only one bedroom has an ensuite bath. Two bedrooms share a hall bath and the downstairs bedroom has a bath across the haul near the family room. All in all it's suitable to large families who don't care to be beachfront.

Great time

The house was great. It was clean, fairly well stocked. It took a bit to adjust to the difference in picture size vs the actual size and the location to the beach, but came back to reality. Overall amazing stay and with family and friends. I would recommend options for renting supplies from the home owner instead of the rent al companies. Thanks for the house.

We loved the location in Wild Dunes and the proximity to Charleston. The pictures are a bit exaggerated as the space is small and cozy. It is also not a “bright” house in the trees but the porch is great for gathering. Nice to walk across the street to the beautiful beach

Great property. We loved the location. With regards to the property, in general a great property. I have a few comments regarding the property. I feel that overall, the property could be a little cleaner. The fridge/freezer and oven/stove were both clean. The linen on the beds and towels were also clean. There was a dirty sock under the coffee table, it was not one of ours, so I left it there. So, the table was not moved for cleaning - vacuuming. We found that some cutlery and crockery were not properly cleaned, whether it’s the dishwasher or not properly washed by hand, especially the knives and forks and coffee mugs. The propane for the grill was finished after grilling our first night. The office was very helpful in getting us a propane refill, but the grill didn’t want to work after that. They immediately came and fixed the problem. However, the grill inside was very dirty and actually did start a grease fire. The grill inside was packed with grease from previous grillings. Fortunately my husband was able to stop that immediately. But, we still had a great time and enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Very nice, new, clean and spacious

Our family of 7 with two small kids had a great week here in August. The house is very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped. We had no issues and the service by Sweetgrass Properties was terrific. We sent down some stuff for the kids via amazon and they had delivered it to the property before we arrived! The location was the selling point for us. Easy 3 minutes walk to a nice, medium size pool and 5-10 minute walk to the beach. We did a bunch of morning/afternoon excursions to Charleston and just enjoyed the water. We saw dolphins right off the beach. Highly recommend.

GREAT VACATION HOME

Super nice with everything we needed for the family. We even found games to play. The short walk to the beach was easy and the owner's beach house was directly behind our beach chairs providing a restroom only a few steps away. Pool right there too. That was a big help for my mom and kids. Pelican Bay is a lovely setting for a wonderful vacation. We will be back.
