Muy tranquilo con una hermosa vista tan cerca del centro. La casa es 3BR, 2 cuarto de baño completo con un hermoso porche sol. Nuestros interiores cabaña, suelos de madera, chimenea de gas y cocina cocina acogedora con servicios de concha proporcionan el lugar perfecto para la cena dentro o fuera en la terraza con vistas. Wonderful Location!

This space was perfect for my family. We had multiple adult couples staying and it was perfect. The location was great, with about a 10 minute walk to get to all of the major spots!

Fourth of July with family

The cabin was a wonderful place with some vibes that had us talking about growing up in the seventies. It was comfortable, the porch wrapped around two sides and had lovely views. The walk into town was good for us and it was really just about five blocks down Sunset to get to The Famous Toastery for breakfast. The walk back was a little more difficult but we needed the challenge after enjoying ourselves in town! It’s also close to a lovely antique store and Blowing Rock Brewing.

Perfect location, very comfortable!

The listing is 100% accurate, please read it carefully. We chose this listing because of the location ample seating in the living room and dining room. It is definitely walkable to downtown Blowing Rock but the road into the neighborhood is a short, steep hill and would be very difficult with a stroller. Also, if you are stay with an infant or toddler, there is no door closing off the stairs to the downstairs bedrooms. Keep a baby gate in mind if you need one. We had a wonderful stay! My husband said he would definitely book there again.

Won’t stay again

Ugly left over furniture. No dish washer or washer dryer. Too much to do when leaving. Scattered notes about procedures and not the same instructions on all of them. Water in showers very difficult to get right, either hot or freezing. Not a good experience.

The pictures posted are accurate and show every room including all the furniture in the home prior to renting. We strive for a simple classic décor that suits all family types. Our amenities are clearly stated under the property section prior to renting and should have been noted by renter prior to booking. .Our renters love our notes and that is something we always receive appreciation for! This is our family home for over 50 years, we are sure you found the home in excellent shape, cleaned to perfection, stocked with tons to free personalized toiletries, attention to detail, and within the perfect distance to all Blowing Rock has to offer. We hope you enjoyed our lovely little town during your stay.

Wonderful Property

Great location for downtown Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Mountain! We loved the coziness of the house also. The gas fireplace warmed us up immediately every time we came in from the cold winter storm during our visit. What an awesome place to stay!

Great cabin, great location, great time

We had a great time staying in this cozy cabin. The location was perfect, with two young children it was great being able to walk to town and the playgrounds. Although the cabin is a bit outdated, it was exactly what we expected and exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed and we would certainly stay here again!

Great peaceful getaway in a convenient location. Very Comfortable!

This house was perfect for our new years getaway. Right in the heart of Blowing Rock which made the stay much more enjoyable having everything within minutes away. Highly recommend if your looking for cozy cottage in the Blowing Rock area. Owners where a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent!

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this Blowing Rock cottage. The location was perfect, and the house was just cozy and had so much charm. We especially enjoyed the sun porch and the games available to play while we were there.

Creeper Trail Layover

Great location, good accommodations. We love Blowing Rock and wanted to stay there for our ride on the Creeper Trail. Everything worked as planned! But Blowing Rock was busting at the seams last weekend.

Family getaway

The house was perfect, clean and stocked with everything we needed! The location was what attracted me to it; liked being walking distance to downtown blowing rock and out of the loud noise from people and cars! The owner was very quick to answer any questions and very helpful. Also loved the nice back porch to relax on!

Great location

We had a great time while in Blowing Rock and the location of this property was perfect for our adventure. Very close to downtown! The property was clean and well maintained, but be prepared for an older home with no modern updates. The kitchen is on the smaller side, but includes the essentials for cooking. The plumbing was a bit of a challenge with respect to getting the proper water temperature in the downstairs shower. Excellent location and clean house!

Enjoyed stay, but needed regulation of hot water

We actually thought it was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. However, it was difficult to regulate the hot water in both showers. Don't know what could be done about that, but it was a large problem. A dishwasher and WiFi would have been nice, but we managed with out it. Would probably not come back because of the hot water.

Weekend in BR

House was old but nice. Had everything we needed and then some. Would have liked the kitchen and bathroom to be cleaner. Beds were quite comfortable and very clean. No internet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you are trying to get away.

Weekend getaway in Blowing Rock

We had a great stay, the house was immaculately clean and within a short walking distance to Main Street. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to all our requests. We will definitely keep this property in mind for our future trips to Blowing Rock!

Better than expected

This home is so cute! and a stone away from Blowing Rock. We walked to restaurants. The home is very clean and full of thoughtful details. The kitchen has the basics​ including coffee and dreamer, and the bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Great Service!
