Encantadora "Habitación Plus" en la cabaña frente al mar

"Suite" de nueva construcción adjunta a la encantadora cabaña junto al mar. Esta encantadora adición incluye un amplio dormitorio con cama Queen, techo de catedral y pisos de abeto. Baje por el pequeño vestíbulo con paneles de pino y encontrará un baño nuevo con ducha de gran tamaño y hermosos paneles de pino. Hay una despensa que alberga una pequeña nevera, microondas, tostadora y cafetera Keurig. Desde el exterior, ingresa a la suite a través de una puerta del atrio que sale de una cubierta de cedro de 8 'x 16' que da a la espectacular vista que ofrece el canal Mussel Ridge, Pleasant Beach y numerosas islas. A beautiful spot towards the end of a dead end road. Great views! And very quiet. Great location for exploring the area, but we didn’t go far from the Adirondack chairs steps from the water.

Where do I begin?! I feel I truly lucked out finding this gem…perfect spot for a relaxing stay while visiting family in the area. Everything from initial booking, communication, thoughtful design/set up/amenities of the cottage, the surroundings, view and hosts were amazing. Highlight of my entire Maine visit was kayaking up the river 1.5-2 hrs each day! Will def be back!!

The location of this cozy cottage is any beach lovers delight! The cottage was extremely clean and the hosts were extremely generous with what they provided. Aside from being very kind people, they were very concerned about our comfort and experience. I highly recommend this beautiful place when in the Rockland area. It’s far enough away from a busy summer town filled with people but close enough to go there whenever you want. I know that when I go back to Maine, I will stay there again!!

This is a lovely cottage in a very beautiful setting. Absolutely breathtaking in any kind of weather. I had fog,clouds mist & rain but loved all of it! It is also well-situated for day trips to Rockland,Camdem, and the surrounding area. The property is perfect for 1 or 2 people, with a large deck and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs to relax by the water. Marc is a kind and helpful host! I will certainly be returning.

Perfect July 4th Getaway

The tranquil coastal location is the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The suite has everything needed for a comfortable stay plus an amazing view. Plenty of sightseeing and outdoor activities in the area or just chill by the water in the adirondack chairs. We enjoyed chatting with our wonderful hosts about the area's history and Marc's restaurant reservations were great.

Cute, quiet, & cozy! The Perfect couple vaca stay!

Beautiful & cozy. Perfect location, easy access and pretty quiet area. We spent our mornings sitting on lawn chairs drinking coffee staring out at Lobsterman with boat, waves crashing into rocks and listening to seagulls. We left bit of our hearts here. Definitely will visit again! The Owner was super friendly and helpful.

What a great little cottage. Listing was accurate and complete. Waking up every morning looking at the ocean was incredible. Bed was very comfortable and roomy shower was great. Bathroom was quite large as well. Interior was amazing and had 2 nice closets with hangers for clothes. The walk to the shoreline was short and had amazing views. We didn't take advantage of the firepit, but the view and shoreline walk were incredible. We ate breakfast in the Adirondack chairs every morning and sat there in the evenings as well as the nice roomy deck out the front door. It as so cool to watch the tide go in/out. Marc was an incredible host and gave us lots of info about local places to go and we took advantage of every recommendation. A grocery store that served breakfast was close by. It was a short drive to Rockland/Rockport/Camden. Marc had a nice folder with lots of info it for us to review. The best part was meeting Delsie the golden retriever mix. :) I would stay here again without hesitation when we revisit the area.

The view was spectacular.

Everything was exactly as presented. It was a wonderful, quiet and beautiful site. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay there. Marc was a great host. We already plan on going back next year.

Great Cottage

The cottage was nicely represented by the pictures. It was very convenient and easy to get to all the areas we wanted to go. Marc the owner met us when we got there and recommended a couple of restaurants that were open on Sundays and close by. The cottage was a perfect size for 2 with a nice size bathroom. Even though it was foggy our first couple of days the view was beautiful across the water when the fog lifted.

This charming oceanfront cottage is all of that and more. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, comfortable setting. The fact that our hosts were so kind, friendly and fun made our stay feel like we were with family. For us, this location was the perfect mix of being quiet and out off the way while still being close enough to several towns with many interesting sites to see and areas to explore. Where else can you climb a mountain to view the ocean from above and then go shopping in a quaint but bustling town, enjoy familiar food prepared in unique ways and then just put your feet up on your oceanview deck while reading an intriguing novel that you picked up in the local bookstore all in the same day? And that was just day 1 for us! We saw lighthouses and walked in parks, went antiquing, met interesting people and watched the tides roll in and out. We visited farm markets and saw some interesting wildlife. What a vacation! The cottage is adorable and comfortable; it's very well appointed with everything you might need. Honestly, nothing is lacking. It's clean and beautiful. You will love it, I'm certain!

We have spent summers in Maine for more than 20 years, and purchased this cottage in 2002 with an eye towards retiring here during the summer months. We have been doing renovations to this alluring little cottage since we took ownership. Our renovations are nearly complete and recently included the addition of a separate living suite in the attached wing. This wing affords us the benefit of using the cottage while ensuring privacy for ourselves and our guests. We are still in the process of repurposing a small building (which was moved from a nearby strawberry farm) for our use as a woodworking shop.

Our cottage is nestled among a small community of cottages, most of which have been in the same family for generations. There is history here along with spectacular coastal views. It’s an ideal spot to read, kayak, or simply watch the sailboats and lobster boats.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are fortunate in that our property includes a large, flat open lot directly in front of our cottage. It abuts the beach and is south facing making it a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and the bay/beach. It is uniquely convenient for those wishing to launch and store their kayaks.
