Beautiful, oceanfront property and home next to Samoset Resort and Golf Course. Fully renovated, all new kitchen and baths, super clean and charming chic decor. Sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms with queen beds and trundle with 2 twins on upstairs hallway landing, plus 2.5 baths. Lots of amenities and plenty of room in over 1300 sq. ft. plus private screened in porch and gas grill. Outdoor pool on property. Next to resort, spa and restaurants.

Walk to beach, lighthouse, trails and shops. Close by to the harbors with boats and ferries, plus sailing, island and Lobster boat excursions. Nearby are sandy beaches, lakes, mountains and hiking, including up a blueberry trial to a hilltop ocean view. Enjoy year round festivals, art and plays in the park, and Schooner Days and events during Labor Day weekend!

Remarkable property. Perfect for family gatherings.Beds and bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen and diningroom melded right into the livingroom making a great open space. The ping pong table in the garage was a fun added bonus!! Kitchen was stocked with everything needed

This property is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting with easy access to surrounding towns, shops, restaurants, and activities. The house and its furnishings were perfect for our group of 5. And we enjoyed the screened porch. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-appointed. We also appreciated having access to some of the amenities on the property - restaurant, spa, fitness center. For walkers, it is a very safe place to walk.David, our host, was very responsive both before and during our stay. Email responses were immediate or less than 24 hours.We all agreed that if back in the area, we would definitely try to stay at this property again.

We traveled to our favorite town/resort for our 20th wedding anniversary celebration with family. On this occasion, we decided to stay in a home on the Samoset Resort Property in Rockland, Maine. Contacting the host was easy, conversation/updates/property information was seamless, and the property itself was everything that we hoped it would be. This is a quiet and peaceful setting, with access to the resort amenities such as the grounds, lighthouse walk and restaurants. We were very comfortable and able to relax from our busy day to day schedules. The rooms/beds were comfortable and clean, kitchen well stocked, and the ping pong table in the garage was a bonus! We would certainly return for another vacation.

Great location and host

We had a great time staying at David’s townhouse while attending a wedding at Samoset Resort. The house was in great condition, perfect location, and had excellent amenities. We used the neighborhood pool and walked to the Samoset golf course. David was very communicative and helpful.

great location to Samoset Resort

A great multi-bed option for the wedding we attended at Samoset Resort, and for day trips to Camden. It is a VERY short drive, or a 10 minute walk on the golf course paths. Easy check-in and plenty of amenities, including the pool.

Sweet Cottage on the Maine Midcoast

Clean, welcoming and well appointed. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. We are very familiar with the midcoast area and have stayed in this neighborhood before. This particular home was everything we hoped for.

Early fall vacation

Very clean and well stocked property. All communications with David were prompt. I’ve been to the Samoset several times and the views are awesome however this property is not oceanfront nor does it have an ocean view so it was somewhat of a disappointment. Still you’re very close to all the Samoset amenities and a short drive to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden.

Wonderful Stay in Rockland

We enjoyed the Samoset location central to all the places we wanted to visit in Midcoast Maine. Great accommodations. Would consider coming back in the future and maybe renting an ocean view residence.

Wonderful Stay

The home is lovely and well maintained. David our host was amazing, responding to our questions and providing us with information on the town, dinning, beaches etc. We were a party of 5 adults and an infant going to a Wedding at the Samoset. Everything we needed and more was available at the home. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here!!!!

Great spot to head out up and down the Maine coast

Beautiful property. Clean and user friendly, even a ping pong table for the kids. Used the association pool, and visited the close resort for a lovely dinner. Host was very helpful with information. Highly recommend this charming home.

The house was perfect for our party of four friends. Plenty of space, kitchen stocked with plenty of cookware, full pantry and super clean. It felt like being in a home. Highly recommended.

A Lovely Weekend

The space, nestled near the Samoset resort is as advertised. Clean, proximate to Camden, Rockport and Rockland, with wonderful and hospitable hosts. It is perfect for a couple, a small family, or two couples. I would highly recommend it to any Mid-coast visitor. Thank you David and Barri.

great trip in Maine

our stay was good, weather was a little disappointing ... vrbo showed property appearing to be in full view of the water(aerial type of view) or that you could walk straight out to it. i don't think it would stop someone from renting but disappointing that there was no possible view of water. Difficult to easily find tv shows and no cable. David was extremely helpful in everyway. So caring and accessible. oh, personally we would prefer the refrigerator to be empty and most particularly the freezer. kitchen was great.. appliances new and all needs were met. loved the little lawnmower robots.. they were like little pets! wishing the couch and chair in living room were a bit higher and more comfy. All in all a very warm, very clean, and inviting home. Thank you David and Barri for your quick response to questions. enJOY Fall and good weather, b

We enjoyed our stay. The house is great, one comment. I think you should update the couches in the living room. They were very uncomfortable for four people.

Home away from home

My husband and I stayed here with my 7 month old, 2 year old and our two friends. It was a great size to accommodate all of us. The master bath had enough room to house a crib and one of the trundle day bed mattresses transferred conveniently to fit on the floor next to us in our room. Each couple had their own full bathroom with the powder bath downstairs. David kindly set out a baby gate at the top of the stairs and there were a few toys for our toddler to discover. We especially loved the back screened in porch, grill access and spotting the robot lawn mowers around the neighborhood was a favorite child activity. The couch in the main living area is a repurposed outdoor rattan seating arrangement and leaves some comfort to be desired, but for a vacation where you’re spending most time outside, it wasn’t too much of a bother. The beds, however were VERY comfortable. We brought our own blackout blinds as the blinds in the bedrooms do let in a fair amount of light. The pool is lovely, but if you’re not used to Maine water temps…it is a bit cold.

Best VRBO in all of Maine!

Amazing place and great communication. House was so clean and comfortable, above and beyond. Bedding was so soft and comfortable which was a pleasant surprise when not being home. Location was convenient , quiet and beautiful!
