Dormitorio 1: con cama de matrimonio y TV con canales Freeview de 20 ".
Dormitorio 2: con dos camas individuales con cremallera y eslabones (puede ser una cama súper grande a petición).
Baño: Con ducha sobre ba��era, inodoro y radiador toallero. . Calefacción (suelo radiante en comedor y baño), electricidad, ropa de cama, toallas y Wi-Fi incluido. Cuna y trona. Gran jardín con patio y muebles de jardín. Estacionamiento asignado para 1 auto. No Fumar.. The Retreat es una encantadora casa con terraza, situada en el bonito pueblo de West Lulworth, con una ubicación ideal para un fácil acceso a la ruta costera del suroeste y a Lulworth Cove.

Internamente, la propiedad ha sido remodelada, conservando muchas características de carácter, como paredes de ladrillo visto, horno Rayburn y una estufa de leña. Externamente, el jardín está situado en una pendiente pronunciada que aprovecha al máximo las vistas del campo circundante. Es una pequeña área de jardín y tiene un patio cubierto ideal para relajarse después de un ajetreado día explorando.

Situado en el corazón del pueblo, el establecimiento se encuentra a pocos pasos de las tiendas del pueblo y un par de pubs, incluida una taberna con techo de paja del siglo XVI que se considera una de las casas públicas más antiguas de Dorset.

Lulworth Cove está a solo un kilómetro de Durdle Door, un emblemático Limestone Arch natural que ha aparecido en varios videos musicales, producciones de televisión y películas como Nanny McPhee. La bulliciosa ciudad costera de Weymouth se encuentra a 20 millas en coche y ofrece una gran cantidad de tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes.

Perfect Retreat

We had a lovely long weekend, loved the accomodation and that so close to local The Castle Inn, but not close enough to hear the comings and going. Close enough for Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in the car and quick trip to Corfe Castle. Only thing that worried us was parking next to a very steep wall., we only have small car. Love the under floor heating and fire (we did visit in November)

Es macht doch etws aus wenn der Vermieter das Cottage selbst nutzt.Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet,Küche komplett ausgesstattet.Sehr guter Kontakt zur ownerin und vor ort zur betreuung.zur Begrüssung Blumen auf dem Tisch,eine Flasche proscco im Kühlschrank und britische Kekse.Seh aufmerksam.Leider liegt das cottage an der Hauptstrasse zum Durdle Door.Also von morgens bis abends Autoverkehr direkt vor der Haustür.Von 22Uhr bis 5Uhr morgens dann ruhe.Wer wirklich Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier am falschen Platz

Had a lovely week at The Retreat.

Had a lovely week at The Retreat. Was a little apprehensive about the oven but found it really easy to use. We were a bit unsure whether there would be a big enough parking space based on the pictures online but it wasn’t an issue as there is a full car space in front of the property. We would definitely consider staying here again to explore the area further.

We had a great holiday ( again ) at the Retreat in Lulworth. Our only disappointment was the fact that the Aga was not working properly for most of our stay . Once notified the owners sent for an engineer to come out and fix it and all was well . We would not be put off from booking the Retreat again and will probably holiday there again next year .

Great stay - cottage is very central within the village with an easy walk to the village shop or the pub. We found it quite hard to find in the pouring rain at night and in the dark as the directions were listed from the other direction. If coming in from the top of the village it is just past the pub on the left hand side where you will see a little pavement layby with a yellow line half way down and private parking. The cottage was very spacious and really cosy with a nice top garden area that can be enjoyed in the evening sun. Cleanliness was good until you moved the coffee table to find that it's obviously never moved when cleaning - but other than that no issues. The oven is an Aga type which takes some getting used to as it's on all the time and is a cross between a slow cooker and normal cooker (ie meal that would take 30mins in a normal oven to cook takes about 1hr 20min but cooks much better and more evenly. The village shop sells fresh bread, pastries etc (Londis) and is situated a short walk down the road).

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped - the owners have thought of everything. Our only gripe was the AGA which must be lovely in cooler months but makes the house rather stuffy in summer. The parking spot at the front was very welcome. The road is quite busy and noisy in the day but quiet at night. There is a decent pub in the village and a little shop for basics. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Lulworth Cove and there are loads of other places to visit in the area - it is a beautiful part of the world.

We stayed during our summer holidays 1 week in The Retreat.

We stayed during our summer holidays 1 week in The Retreat. The cottage is spotlessly clean. The beds are not to soft, nor to firm. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the garden/flowers are well maintained. The beautiful Cove is on walking distance, and Durdle Door is also nearby (from the Cove > one high and steep hill you need to master !) For cooking our meals we used the 2 tiny induction cookers, instead of the Rayburn (not familiar with it). The village has only one small shop. The private parking space in front of the property is a nice bonus. The street in front of the property can be pretty busy, but this is no problem (quiet). Thank you Mel/Mark for your assistance during our stay.

We had a fantastic holiday. The Retreat was perfect, superbly equipped, spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. It had a very homely feel and we would have no hesitation in staying there again. We loved the area and packed so much into our week but we know there are still places we would like to visit.

A fantastic place to stay close to the stunning beauty of Lulworth Cove. Very well furnished and comfortable, it has lots of nice homely touches. We had a great weekend and loved being able to walk to the local pub in the village and got our torches out to walk to the Cove to explore other pubs and restaurants after dark. Would highly recommend the Retreat for a weekend or holiday. It had everything we needed and more.
