Wonderful property with exceptional sea view (in fact, includes a balcony right on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean). Airconditioned, kitchen, amazing views, and central Vernazza. Absolutely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view alone is worth the hefty price tag. It’s a very simple accommodation but we didn’t need much more, as we spent our days exploring the beauty of Cinque Terre. I loved walking through the winding steps and little streets to get to the property. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and check in was a breeze. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking

Finding the property was really easy, using the directions that was sent prior to check in. The view from the balcony was just amazing! Really a wow moment. The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure. Great location. I appreciate the good recommendations in the info book.

Great location and view, as advertised

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 3 days on our honeymoon. The apartment was as advertised and the view of the sea was beautiful. Great location right in the heart of Vernazza. Be aware of the stairs required to get up to the apartment (or anywhere in Cinque Terre).

Sea side beauty

The apartment was just as described. Amazing deck right on the coast. Clean and modern. Helpful host. Perfect neighborhood with all amenities. This was a great base for our hiking adventures in the Cinque Terre. Don’t miss the Belforte restaurant! We would love to return someday.

The space was nice, but the view was outstanding. As we were warned, steps with lots of luggage was a pain, but it is what it is. Air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived at night, so it was a hot, sleepless 1st night. In the morning we checked the fuse box & the A/C switch was turned off! A review warned us about no bath soap but we forgot...we bought some and left for the next guest. We would definitely stay here again, but with lighter luggage!

2 day stay in Vernazza

Spent two magical days in Vernazza at Marcello's place. The check in was simple and easy to understand and communication with the host was immediate. The space was clean, modern and perfect for 2 people. The terrace overlooked the sea and loved the morning and evenings soaking in the beautiful views. We had heavy rain during our stay and was delighted to find all the rain gear we needed provided! I would highly recommend Marcello's place and we are looking forward to staying again on our next trip to Vernazza!

Amazing!

Everything was as pictured…response was great. The view was ridiculously amazing!! So private so lovely! The stairs were part of the experience. Would be difficult for anyone who was physically compromised but it is part of all the Cinque Terre. I found the stairs part of the ambience! I absolutely LOVED this place!!

Great view and location

We loved how quiet this rental was despite being located close to the main walkway in Vernazza (be prepared for a lot of steps). The balcony was a great place to relax. We also enjoyed that hiking poles were provided. Our main concern was that we didn’t feel the apartment was as clean as it could have been; the shower walls were mildewy and the drain in the shower didn’t function well. Despite this we had a great stay.

Lovely seaside studio apartment

The location and view from the balcony were perfect. The apartment has lots of storage and a comfortable bed. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate but small. We appreciated having the washing machine for clothes but it is difficult to access in a small, dark alcove in the bathroom with minimal head clearance and no lighting to be able to see what you are doing. We communicated several times with the host and he was responsive and helpful. Most of the things we reached out about were in a welcome book that was helpful once we found it in a drawer. It is needed to determine how to operate the air conditioning, which worked well once we figured out how it worked. There is water damage over the door to the balcony that drops plaster daily on to the dining table and the door to the balcony does not lock securely. The handle to that door repeatedly fell off when trying to close or open it. The apartment was a nice home base for our 3 nights in Vernazza, which is a very charming village. It is a dusty, sandy area so is tough to keep clean, but there were cupboards for clothing storage that had quite a bit of accumulated dust. The apartment could do with some maintenance and a deep cleaning. Despite these minor inconveniences, the location and view were spectacular. The instructions for getting to the property were helpful and easy to follow. Not at all accessible for anyone who cannot climb lots of very steep steps up and down every day.

Conveniently located and clean. Nice to be able to do some wash while traveling and the provided clothing dry rack was very nice. But the best thing was the deck!!! We enjoyed breakfasts, afternoon Apertivos and made dinner one evening. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular view

Our experience was outstanding from the outset. My husband and I arrived by rental car. We were somewhat concerned about parking based on information we read regarding parking in Cinque Terre. Marcello advised us where to park and graciously reserved a space for us. The parking included a shuttle to the downtown area. The apartment was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. The views from the balcony were exceptionally. If I could rate the property a 10 I would! Thank you Marcello and FiveStay!

Wonderful property with a great central location to all of the Cinque Terre. Outside patio is exactly as the picture in the listing. The Boat ferry or trains were all within a five minute walk. We will rent this apartment again.

Gorgeous view - great location

This apartment was our favorite VRBO in Italy. Gorgeous views from the balcony, perfect for a glass of wine while watching the swimmers below. The apartment was very modern with good amenities, and we appreciated the helpful guide for both Cinque Terre and the apartment. It was the first time we had instructions for the washing machine. Yes, there are lots of stairs, but stairs are just part of Cinque Terre! We recommend the apartment highly.
