Mother daughter trip

Close to the beach, which was needed for our elderly mother. Beautifully decorated condo with excellent view from the screened in porch. The only thing I would say is that the beach chair situation is crazy. Chairs are provided and set up for you each morning, which is awesome, but people get in line at 6am to reserve the chairs they want for the day, and then apparently the go back to bed! The entire front row, beach view is reserved and empty for several hours before people start uding them. Its a serious situation.... don't dare walk out on the beach before 7:30 or you will be told off. There is 1 elevator in the tower and its slow. The building acoustics are awful. You can hear everyone in the hallway from every floor. If you can get over this stuff, its a great place! Good location in Siesta.

Absolutely amazing!

We have been visiting Crescent Arms for years and have never been disappointed. The water is so calm here too! Private beaches are great if you want to stay away from the crowds!

Dirty condo

Our overall stay was great! Love Siesta Key! Location of property was great as well. Our condo, on the other hand, appeared to have not been cleaned. When we txtd the owner, she thanked us for letting her know our concerns, and added she would forward to the hired housekeeper. Then she added how much she paid to have it cleaned, and expected it to be great. Didn't sound too concerned to me.

Beautiful view

The view is amazing. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The only downfall is not enough electrical outlets but it still did not disappoint. Would definitely stay here again.

Some small issues

Electric outlets need replaced. Many would not hold a plug. The second shower does not work. One of the lamps in the master bedroom did not have a knob. There was an extension cord set up you had to plug it in to come on and unplug to turn it off

Large unit, nice size beds and baths. Great views and great location Unit needs some rehab in baths, primary tub and shower not working.

Great Location

As listed. Check in was a touch confusing but host was quick to walk us through it. Place was all you need if you there for the beach, the view was amazing. Ealking distance to eats and shopping was nice as well as traffic on the island was heavy. We'd stay here again!

Crescent Arms

The location of the apartment was perfect with a wonderful view of the beach and close to amenities. The apartment was clean and tidy. However it was a little run down and good do with some TLC to really bring it up.

Hard time getting checked in gate code was different from what was given they said they change code every month according to office and said owner should know that also no hot water in kitchen and bathroom sink let run and never got hot also elevator stopped working and had to walk steps to 5th floor

Our stay at Siesta Key

Having rented VBRO’s for ten years, we were disappointed in this rental. An update is needed in the bathrooms and kitchen - the cabinets were pealing and the sinks were cracked. The carpets were soiled as well as an upholstered chair in the living area. The coffee pot was not usable in place due to the cabinets overhead. While we would not rent this unit again, the view was wonderful.

Awesome property

Unit was a great size, and very clean. Everything you need is there. Just bring extra TP, and your own bathing soaps. If you need to plug anything in sych as CPAP machines, you might want to bring an extension cord since plug was behind the bed and I couldn't reach i. No worries. Several beach towels and toys in unit. Available beach chairs every morning and umbrellas rentals ade it extra nice. Looking forward forward to staying here again. Owner communicates well.

Amazing

We had booked this trip in January with plans for our Trip in May. Initially we were a little leary as we had seen the same listing on the internet with a different owner’s name. That is why we ended up booking through VRBO. The pictures on VRBO are spot on. It is a wonderful unit with AMAZING views of the sunsets! That alone is worth every penny! The unit is on the side of the building where you have no blocked view of the sunsets, and it is completely screened in which is a plus! If our family was not on the beach, we sat out all evening to relax with the amazing view! The owner was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions or issues. We initially had some beach pass issues and questions with the process of how the beach chair process works, etc since we had never been there before. We went to claim chairs with our pass every morning at 7:30 without any issues. and we ended up renting umbrellas. (highly recommended) We had an AMAZING stay and would return to this unit and owner in a heartbeat! If I had one thing to change, I would request some updated paperwork provided for check in and that is available in the unit for reference. However, it is easy to figure out the changes and definitely not something that would ever hinder anyone’s stay. We are very appreciative of Debbie and look forward to returning to Siesta Keys again!!!

Ideal Location

Overall very good! Right on the beach, sunset view, close waterfront dining and activities. Pool hours are dawn to dusk, coin laundry is on each floor $5 per load, inside hallways were extremely loud and the mad rush at 7:30am for an umbrella in the front was slightly annoying. Needs ceiling fans. Accommodations were great with beach toys and floaters, overall a great trip!

Rest and relaxation

Beautiful condo with an amazing view. It was great having comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas available for the beach! Perfect view of sunsets and great location. Trolley system works great, never waited more then 5 minutes. Great vacation in beautiful Siesta Key

Dated so-so property with great beach

The location of this building property is conveniently located and the beach is gorgeous. It is secure and safe with building gates and security codes. The pool is small and oddly located in the front of the parking lot instead of behind the building near the beach. It seems like a hike to the pool and there isnt alot of chair space. There are no bathrooms for tenants to use on the first floor of the building while at the beach which is extremely inconvenient. The bathrooms in the suite are small and the master shower needs to be regrouted. It's all moldy. There are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms so it gets steamy and warm. There are no extra blankets should someone want one for sleeping on the couch or in the evening. The lowest you can set the thermostat is 72 in the suite which was too warm while sleeping. The chair police wont let you set your beach tags and towels on chairs till 7:30 am Then everyone runs out to the beach to claim chairs. Its a pitiful site and not conducive to a vacation state of mind.

Great location / Building Challenges

The location of this property was fantastic. Great view, great patio and walking distance to many things. Condo unit was nice and spacious Complex was a bit of a challenge. Bad week of travelers who did not adhere to rules and protocol making it difficult to fully enjoy trip. Owners were very detailed and helped throughout the process. Great people to rent from.

Nice unit, awkward access.

The unit itself is fine. However, when compared to other condo rentals over the past 15 years, the building design with its central “jail-like” atrium and the long passageway past private one-story cottages makes access awkward if not frustrating. BTW that aged barbecue grill is almost laughable when compared with the shiny new grills found at other condos.
