This property is phenomenal and the host had snacks/treats waiting for us after our long day of travel! The house & grounds are absolutely amazing. This was the perfect location and set up for our needs. The host even decorated for the holidays for us!! The host was communicative, which we greatly appreciated.The attention to detail was astounding. The kitchen was stocked and well organized. The place was clean, merry, and bright!We highly recommend this location and hope to return some day. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.

We had an excellent stay! This property has absolutely everything you can think of. We were able to host Thanksgiving for our family who traveled from all over! We had 5 adults and 3 children and everyone had enough space. Zachary was very communicative and we enjoyed the tamales, rice, salsa and guac after a long travel day! Highly recommend. We will 100% book again!

Good rental

The house was comfortable, well-stocked with towels and clean.Check-in was a bit of a hassle as the host gave us the wrong code. It was resolved after contacting him for the correct one.The refrigerator had a lot of half-filled jars of condiments which was kind of gross. The host did leave us some welcome foods such as guacamole and lemonade, which was a kind gesture..The big problem that future guests should inquire about was the fact that the next door neighbor has a very bright spotlight outside their back window that was turned on every night, completely destroying the ambiance of sitting on the back patio and enjoying the night sky. The host was able to help reduce the time it was turned on from all night to about 11 PM, but this still basically ruined our opportunity to sit outside and see the stars. We understand that it may beyond the host’s responsibility to influence the neighbor, but it should be mentioned by the host prior to committing to the rental, and/or inquired about by the potential renter prior to reserving the rental if seeing the stars is a desired activity. Additionally, a suggestion to the host would also be to place some window coverings of some sort on the kitchen, of which there are currently none, as the spotlight also shines into there quite brightly.Besides these issues, it was a clean, comfortable, and well-located home that we enjoyed.

Wonderful Foothills Home

Just can't say enough positive things about this great property! The location is scenic and excellent for hikes in Sabino Canyon, with great restaurants and other activities within an easy drive. The house itself is very spacious and beautifully appointed, with a well equipped kitchen. The owners have thought about everything one might need. In addition, a delicious and generous welcome collection of food was provided. Zach, our host, was very responsive and our whole stay was so pleasant and easy. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Amazing spot for family visit

We were so glad to find this gem of a home. We had 3 couples from 3 different states converge in Tucson during the Gem Show. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything labelled & cooking was easy with the variety of spices & utensils available. Zach is a responsive & friendly host, & we loved the amazing tamales, pico, & guac he provided as well as the use of homegrown citrus from the yard. The park pass was another plus & we made use of it for a fun hike at Sabino Canyon. The yard provided a quiet oasis for coffee & reading. My parents were very comfortable in the master suite. They had never stayed at a VRBO & they now have high expectations after this experience. We will certainly stay here again if we return to Tucson!

Another lovely Tucson visit

This is the second time we stayed at this lovely and well-appointed property in Tucson. Perfectly located to take in our favourite hiking destinations (Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemmon), great restaurants and shopping nearby and memorable days spent relaxing in the large yard overlooking the foothills. Thanks to Zach for always being available to answer questions. Hope to return for our third visit soon!

Wonderful stay in Tucson

Our first trip to Tucson. The rental was perfect, and the owner even provided a meal for our first night there. The house was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of 5. We spent the days out hiking and exploring Saguaro National Park (East and West), Sabino Canyon and the Desert Museum. It was nice getting back to the rental in the evenings to have dinner and relax. The house was well stocked with small items that you may need for the stay: shampoo, soap, coffee, cooking oil, spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc ... This was our first time flying in for a vacation where we couldn't easily bring those items from home, and it made a big difference. Definitely would want to stay here again when we return to Tucson for another visit

Outstanding Home in a Great Location

Our third trip to Tucson and first time in this home. Property was everything we hoped for: well-maintained and very clean. Location was great, as we like to be just north of Tucson in the Catalina Foothills. Very quiet! Our adult kids were able to walk back to the house from Sabino Canyon when they tired of waiting for their slower-hiking parents. In addition to all the other positive attributes of this house, we also found this to be amongst the most well-stocked home we’ve ever rented on any platform. We were able prepare a great Christmas dinner for our far-flung kids, since we’re not often all together. Communication with the owner was easy and responsive. We were particularly appreciative of the gluten-free tamales and side dishes waiting for us upon arrival after a long drive south. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here if/when we find our way back to Tucson.

Comfortable house in a great location

Given its proximity to both Sabino Canyon and a small shopping center with a grocery store and great restaurants, this house provided a lovely getaway feeling while still being convenient for everything else that we wanted and needed. The house is well stocked for cooking and grilling, and nice seating areas both inside and outside, which made it a lovely location for our stay. We would definitely recommend this house to others!

Fantastic stay in Tucson Catalina Foothills!

This is truly a wonderful property and situated in the best location in Tucson. Close to grocery stores, shops, hiking in Sabino Canyon. The house is very spacious, well-outfitted with everything that you need and best of all, boasts a relaxing outdoor space which we enjoyed every morning (watching the sun rise and hummingbirds) and afternoon (relaxing after our hikes and travels). Thanks to our thoughtful host for stocking the fridge with tamales, iced tea, guac, salsa and that amazing almond danish for our arrival Very much appreciated after a long travel day. Hope to return soon!

Excellent house

This house is perfectly located for hiking Sabino Canyon and for enjoying Tucson City life. With a beautiful view from the house and terrace, and a well-furnished house, this rental has few parallels.

Enjoyed Our Stay

This home was just as we expected from the listing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The four bedrooms worked well for the six of us and there was plenty of space inside and out for entertaining. The master bedroom and ensuite bath were spacious, but my favorite part of this home was the lovely view of the foothills out back!

Multigenerational holiday vacation

Our extended family of 2 kids, 2 parents and 4 grandparents stayed here for the holidays. We ranged in age from 4 to 80 years old. Everyone had a great time. My 6 year old says it was the best vacation ever and wants to come back to this "party house." My MIL said this was the most well stocked vacation rental she has ever stayed in. The house was perfect for our family. We like to cook our own meals; they have plenty of pots, pans, spices, condiments, serving plates. I also used the waffle maker, blender and 2nd refrigerator (in the garage). The toiletries are high end, probably better than anything you'd bring to travel. Plenty of parking inside or outside the garage. We went to Sabino Canyon twice and used their parking pass (make sure you leave it in the house when you depart). There are lots of board games provided and streaming subscriptions to watch on the TV. I have never experienced a more hospitable host. Our entire first meal was provided by the owners. Staying here feels like visiting family. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful southwestern home.

A perfect house for our adult family. I liked the landscaping a lot.i appreciated the items available in the kitchen- olive oil, spices and other long lasting things. The Christmas decorations were wonderful. We added a candle and had a very nice setting when our larger family came to dinner at “our” house. The nice fishers and silverware were a perfect touch. We will be back!

We hope to provide that same atmosphere of being welcoming, knowing you will love your time here. We have fully remodeled every room as well as the outside to provide all the comforts you would expect to find in your own home.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

You can walk to the grocery store, drug store, many great restaurants, an art museum, other shops, Wells Fargo bank, post mail... all without ever having to drive. You can also drive to the gas station just two blocks west of us. Sabino Canyon is just east of us and is a beautiful walk, or hike! We enjoy the wild life and often see bobcats, javalinas, roadrunners, and best of all... the stars! Just sit out back, enjoy a beverage and look out at the Catalina Mountains, look up at the stars... spectacular! Relaxing, calm, quiet. Of course, 20 minutes later you can be in the heart of activity downtown or at the University. Come stay with us and see how much you'll look forward to returning again and again!
