Eagle Pines La cabaña del koppa es un completamente renovado, 4 dormitorios, 2 baños, casa rústica de lago que se acomoda a 4-12 personas y está abierto para su uso durante todo el año. We had such a great stay at this Northwoods property! The cabin was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and spotless—it felt like a true home away from home. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, both inside and out.One of the highlights was definitely the water toys—we made great use of the kayaks and paddle boat, which added a ton of fun to our days on the lake. And the fishing? Fantastic! We caught some really great fish, which made the experience even more memorable.The hosts were also wonderful to work with—super communicative and friendly, which made everything smooth from booking to check-out. Overall, it was an amazing Northwoods getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Ice fishing

We had a blast ice fishing. The property was perfectly set up for us to drive our atv directly onto the ice and catch plenty of fish right out in front of the cabin. I highly recommend this place for anyone that enjoys winter sports. The house was stocked with firewood and we had a great setup to clean our fish as well. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks Pat.

Bachelor Party

My son chose Eagle Pines Cabin for his bachelor party getaway over several other choices. We were not disappointed!! From the very first email, everything was amazing!! Pat went above and beyond to keep us updated if necessary and he took the time to answer every email/text question that I had for him...even if I asked the same question more than once. The cabin itself was amazing and easily accommodated 11 male adults and had everything that we needed. The guys had plenty of space for their outside games and we spent each night sitting around a fire talking. The kayaks were put to good use and once we found the fish, the crappie fishing was excellent!! The views of the lake were amazing and there was much wildlife to be seen. A deer and fox came for a visit as we sat around the fire. It was just an all around great experience that none of us will forget, especially our soon-to-be married son!! If/when we take a family fishing vacation in the future, Eagle Pines Cabin will be the first place I look up!! Thank You very much Pat and Laura for sharing your cabin with us!!

Family get away

Nice place and owners were excellent to deal with. A little bit of a walk to the house from the parking area down some steps to unload the vehicles. Other than that would highly recommend.

Beautiful Property-Great Host

Our family had a great stay. The weather was not ideal for swimming but the kayaks and stand up paddle boards were perfect for the cooler temps. The younger kids loved playing in the sandy beach front. Plenty of space inside and outside. The host was very responsive and checked in to make sure we all got to the property and had everything we needed. Our kids have already asked us to go back!

Amazing Cabin Experience in the Northwoods

From the location itself to the view of the lake, this cabin was an amazing experience. It was such a peaceful retreat. The communication between the property owners couldn’t be more easy. They were so accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience a “real north-woods” cabin.

Nossa estadia foi bruscamente abalada após sermos expulsos erroneamente no meio da festa de aniversário de um ano da nossa filha, o caseiro simplesmente entrou na casa e informou que já tinha passado do horário de saída, o que causou bastante constrangimento com os nossos convidados, visto que tiveram que sair da piscina e começar a organizar tudo até o momento em que foi possível conseguir um sinal de 4g para poder entrar em contato com o proprietário e mandar um print do app mostrando que ele estava errado e tinha estragado o aniversário de 1 ano da minha filha. Espero que após o episódio lamentável os responsáveis sejam mais cautelosos e cuidadosos com as datas de locação, principalmente pelo fato do imóvel ficar situado em local com pouco ou quase nenhum sinal telefone e internet, o que dificultou a comprovação da data correta de saída (16/01/23 até às 18h). A maioria dos equipamentos estavam sem funcionar, sendo eles: microondas, geladeira (uma desligada e outra sem gelar direito) e o freezer que estava funcionando de maneira precária (bastante fraco), sendo necessário a compra diária de gelo e a utilização de um cooler. O campo de futebol é praticamente de enfeite, considerando que é impossível utilizar devido a quantidade de buracos. Em resumo, uma furada...

Cozy cabin

Very cozy cabin. 6 adults, 1 child. Pat was very nice to communicate with. Lake access for snowmobiles was nice.

Start to finish, a perfect getaway. Hosts were very quick to respond. Always something to do without cell phones. Highly recommend.

Perfect dual purpose retreat

Came to the property because our kids were playing in a hockey tournament in Eagle River and we wanted to mix in a little simultaneous vacation time. The cabin housed everyone perfectly and we had a very peaceful fun filled weekend. We'll definitely need to come back again soon!

Winter getaway

We had a great time on our winter getaway. We caught some perch ice fishing, we skated on the ice rink the owners cleared on the lake, and enjoyed a couple hikes on the nearby trails. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Ladies Weekend

COVID has put a damper on plans this year.. found this cabin rental on VRBO. Very spacious and beautiful view.. we stayed in October, did not get to utilize water but we were able to travel to nearby shops and trails... would stay again.

Great outdoor fun with family at Eagle Pines Cabin

September 15-20, 2020 We truly enjoyed our stay at the Eagle Pines Cabin. Colors were beginning to change in the north woods. All the information we needed was on the website and through the owners prompt conversations as well as with the manager, Jeanie, who was so helpful and friendly to answer questions and get us settled in. Parking was very accessible. The Eagle Pines Cabin was beautiful with plenty of room for our family of 5. The fireplace in the master bedroom downstairs was beautiful. The living and dining area gave us awesome serene views of the lake. We took some fantastic pictures of the sunset and early morning fog rising off the lake. The Eagle’s in the Pine tree parallel to the kitchen window and deck was majestic and a photo hobbyists delight. We were visited by a family of deer with their little ones. We also enjoyed watching “Chippy” the chipmunk visit each day. We fished, paddle boarded, kayaked and took the boat out on the lake numerous times. The fireplace, with ample wood supply, in the living room was so wonderful to warm the few evenings the weather got cool. The family enjoyed making S’mores at the campfire in the evening down by the boathouse. We also soaked up some rays lounging in the chairs in the sand and the hammock. We grilled and took advantage of the deck and director chairs drinking coffee in the morning. We had a mean foosball game and Ping-Pong match in the game room downstairs. St. Germaine and Eagle River were within a short driving distance for any needs. Thank you for all your amenities and the use of your well established and equipped cabin. We hope to get away to the Eagle Pines Cabin again soon. Joe & Laurie

Overall a good experience

After I booked with verbo. Verbo said check in was at 1pm. I then got a message from the owner that check in was at first 2pm and then another message that check in was at 3pm. No where on verbo did it say anything about a security deposit. Again that was messaged to me after I had paid in full. Not that that would have made a difference in me booking the stay but it would have been nice to have known while I booked it. Also I understand that things do come up but it was not ideal to have to deal with a plumber and furnace guy while on vacation especially when they are calling my cell phone. It also would have been nice to know in advance that I wouldn’t be able to use the canoe or pedal boat. The canoe didn’t have paddles and wasn’t in the best condition. The pedal boat is extremely old and takes on water.

We use this as our home base for our weekend with the Snowmobile Hall of Fame event. Worked great for the 9 of us. Trail system was just a short distance down the lake.

Beautiful property!

We stayed at Eagle Pines to celebrate a family Christmas with 10 people. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with enough dishes for all of us, and the view was beautiful! We had a wonderful relaxing weekend enjoying the fireplace, playing games, and making memories; we would definitely recommend! Thanks Pat and Laura!

Great vacation

We had a great stay at the Koppa property. Nice house with all the amenities listed. We especially loved all the water toys. The house had plenty of room for our 9 guests. Thank you for a great vacation!

Pat & Laura Koppa live in the Milwaukee area and have 4 adult children who grew up loving trips to the cabin.

Pat has been coming to Dam Lake since childhood (over 40 years) and Laura joined him when they started dating over 30 years ago.

They purchased their cabin in 2005 in order to have a place to spend more quality time with their kids and create lifelong memories with family and friends. It has certainly provided that!

They are happy to provide the same experience for you and your friends and family.

The North Woods is our favorite place on earth, and Dam Lake is truly a special lake, with beautiful shorlines and varying bays and places to go. Yet, it is between populated areas so never gets crowded. It is one of the best-kept secrets in the North Woods.

The beach. Actually very rare on North Woods lakes, it is a true sandy beach that is great for kids and adults and the swim area is private and pleasant, free of any concentrated weed beds.

The cabin is comfortable and spacious. It's meant to be a traditional, North Woods 'cabin' designed to take your mind away from hectic daily life. It's intended to feel relaxing and pleasant, but not stuffy or perfect. It's a place to enjoy the lake and walk inside in your swimsuit and not be worried. It's meant to provide a relaxed setting for quality time with the people you care about.
