Cozy Eagle River Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake


Enjoy sunsets from the spacious deck, screen porch, or lake side campfire. Firewood is provided. Our lot is private, serene and level.
This cabin is the cozy log cabin you’ve always dreamed of. Close to snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails also there are miles and miles of biking and walking trails throughout the area.
Whether you’re visiting in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, it’s truly a year-round retreat!
Nestled between Eagle River and St. Germain.
Relax, Revive, Repeat…..

Sunset Lake is a private lake. There aren’t any public boat landings on the lake. We do have kayaks, and a rowboat. A 8 hp boat motor or pontoon boat are available for rent if you wish.
We suggest that if you plan on bringing a boat, that you boat on the nearby public access lakes. The Eagle River chain is in close proximity to our cabin. We boat on the chain very frequently and would love to provide tips and point you to our favorite restaurants that are on the water.

7-night stays from Friday to Friday only bookings during peak months from mid June through August.
Pets are $100 extra.
Boat motor rental is $250 per week
Pontoon boat rental $1100 per week $250 per day with 1 tank of gas.

This place is great!! It has everything you might need. The hosts were helpful and had great communication. There were seven of us staying and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked and we cooked a lot of great family meals. The gas stove was treat on the cold nights. Fishing was good and we can't wait to come back.

Very welcoming people and the pictures don’t do justice for this nice quiet and very comfortable cabin. I really can’t say enough other than what everyone else says as well. We had an amazing annual family trip on Sunset Lake! The weather cooperated and we were able to explore the lake using the provided kayaks and on the beautiful sandy and clean beach area! We usually like to get out and about to explore, but opted to stay here more to enjoy! Plenty of necessities for cooking that we took advantage of! We also appreciated the nice touches - smores supplies, extra towels for pups, etc! We hope to return to create even more memories!

Our second time here and my family really enjoyed the cabin, the peaceful setting and lake. We loved the big deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need and we cooked or barbecued most of our dinners. We kayaked around the lake a few times in the provided kayaks. Hosts are very helpful and responsive.

Very Special Property

This was exactly what we needed or a short getaway from our normal schedule and scenery. The cabin was beautiful and had a great open-concept layout conducive for hanging out and relaxing. The kitchen was very well-stocked, and they even provided some welcome goodies. We wished it was warmer weather so we could have taken advantage of all the outdoor amenities (there's a beach!). We brought our dog with us and she enjoyed the scenery and property as well. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway--no matter the season!

1st time this happened -- Cabin was better in person than in the pictures!!

I loved so many things about this cabin. It's both beautiful inside and outside. The drive to the cabin was even beautiful. Looking out onto the lake is breathtaking. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. They spoiled us rotten with that kitchen! I normally have to bring certain things from home that we prefer to use for cooking, but I ended up not needing to use any of it. They have a crockpot, a thermos, and even a cheese grater on hand which we used all of!! The owners are super nice, accommodating, and extremely fast with their responses back to all questions I had. The check-in process was incredibly easy. The cabin was super clean and organized. They supplied a first aide kit, flashlights, a shovel, garbage bags and more. They provided a helpful binder with instructions on heating the home, garbage disposal, fishing and boating regulations, and it was full of local brochures for stores and I am so impressed with everything. It was a great stay and I couldn't be happier. I wish I could rate them some extra credit points and give them a 10 out 5 stars. Thank you so much Bill & Cheryl!!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Everything was perfect-we loved it. Our family enjoyed the cozy fire and we had an adults Giant Jenga competition that was fun. We enjoyed making a bonfire outside.

Special Weekend

We took a special trip up north with my parents. My dad was a week out from his latest chemo treatment and on our way up to this cabin he said how weak and tired he was feeling. By our first morning there he was feeling so much better! The fresh air, perfect cabin, warm blankets, Christmas tree, secluded location,and time with family was healing in so many ways! We would love to return soon!

This property in our opinion is the perfect lake house retreat, it’s private, quiet, relaxing, a smooth grade to the lake shore. Awesome sunsets! Great fishing and water sports.

The deck is fantastic, the screen porch has its very own bar and lounge area. So if it’s raining you can still be outside but inside.
