Beautiful Property by the Waterfront

This place is lovely, especially if you want to be in the water as it’s practically across the street from a popular swim platform. It was magical listening to the waves at night but be aware there is a busy street in between so you’ll also be taking in traffic sounds. We were underwhelmed by the lack of toilet paper (1 roll between the two bathrooms) and paper towels (none), of accurate instructions for finding the correct door, the need to crawl around to find and then and tap in a long WiFi password and by the hefty fee we were charged for a late checkout but the manager was polite and responsive and the location, light, views and airiness were beautiful as is the tasteful modernization of an historic property. Pretty spot!

Perfekte Lage in direkter Meereslinie

Sehr gepflegt und zentral. Leider hatten wir bei unserem Besuch ein Gerüst vor der Fassade. Die Agentur hatte uns allerdings darauf hingewiesen und wir haben das in Kauf genommen. Leider war dann die Wohnung direkt nebenan eine Baustelle, die uns ab 7:30 geweckt hatte. Wir konnten uns mit der Agentur einigen. Das ist auch nicht die Regel. Die Lage und die Wohnung im „Normalzustand“ nur zu empfehlen.

100% would recommend

We stayed at Lio Loft mid October and absolutely loved it! So tastefully designed with everything you could wish for for a comfortable stay, comfy enormous beds, great air conditioning and good water pressure in the two bathrooms. The view of the sun rising over the sea at breakfast time is just lovely. Very handy for access to the swimming area, just across the road. We were upgraded to Lio Loft as our original apartment had a small problem but Germana and her team sorted things very quickly for us. Would definitely like to go back. It's hard to think of anything we didn't like but perhaps the bins in the communal entrance courtyard could be better as some rubbish was collecting in the corner.

Comfortable Stay and Ortigia is Beautiful

Loved the coffees you provided and the bottle of wine. A very nice gesture and greatly appreciated. The apartment is in a great location to get around and although small, feels much larger due to the loft and also the views out to the sea. Beds are incredibly comfortable too. The flexibility to greet us on arrival for the introduction to the apartment at half-past midnight was also a great touch - was expecting a key to be left under the mat! Would suggest that if possible to change your glass window doors that look out to the sea from the lounge-room - with the wood on the bottom third of the door, when seated in the lounge-room, you cannot enjoy the view, can only see it when you standare up in the loft. Also, please change the sofa for a more comfortable one for 'lounging' in and the heater/A/C is positioned too high on the wall to warm the downstairs area.
