Camillina es una espectacular propiedad que pertenecìa a la familia Gancia famosa por el 'Asti Spumante'. Carlo Gancia, el inventor de este vino, compró la mejor ubicación en Canelli para construir su magnífica y enorme propiedad. Su posición dominante entre los viñedos tiene una vista sobre Canelli y las colinas, su tranquilidad y su 30. 000 metros cuadrados de parque centenario, piscina y senderos hacen de esta maravillosa propiedad una de las mejores ubicaciónes para pasar unas vacaciones relajantes en Piamonte. Ahora, la casa pertenece a otra familia que la transformó en unaelegante propriedadde lujo. La enorme casa es de 350 mc en dos plantas: la primera planta tiene dos grandes salas de estar con chimeneas originales, un gran comedor con suelo de mármol, una grande cocina, un baño grande con dos lavabos y un espejo, una grande escalera de madera que llega arriba, donde hay 14 habitaciones, 9 baños, dos vestuarios con armarios (180mc). La casa está completamente amueblada y totalmente equipada. Està la posibilidad de llegar a 35 plazas con un segundo Chalet (hogar) que pertenece a la propiedad. la villa está rodeada por un parque secular, con senderos, bancos, por el otro lado de la propiedad justo en frente de la casa en el exposal sur hay una fantástica piscina con jacuzzi, ducha solar, unas duchas cerradas, un patio y una pool- house con barbecue.
También existe la posibilidad de alquilar la villa para fiestas (2000,00 € hasta 60 personas), incluyendo un servicio de catering (de 70,00 € a 140,00 €), música y fuegos artificiales.
Hay tambien un campo de fútbol y bochas con patio , mesa y sillas para descansar y comer. Posicion ideal para descubrir el sur de Piamonte porque estamos cerca de Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco y Neivo. 1h30 de Turin, Milano y Genova.

Toller Aufenthalt! Ein tolles riesiges Haus mit Pool. Auch etwas lautere Musik störte durch die Lage niemanden. Auch das Poolhaus mit Grill war super. Wir waren 18 Personen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Auch die Verwalter waren sehr nett und standen uns mit Tipps zur Umgebung zur Seite.

Mooie locatie die toe is aan een renovatie

Het contact met Martina was goed, ze hielp bij de dingen die nodig waren en fijn dat ze ook Engels spreekt. We waren met een grote groep van 15 volwassenen en 9 kinderen in de leeftijd van 0 tot 8 jaar. We hebben erg genoten van het grote zwembad.(Zit wel een stuk van het huis af, dus als je lekker buiten wilt eten, moet je steeds wel een stuk lopen met borden en pannen) Zwembad heeft klein gedeelte met een verhoging zodat de kleine kinderen er ook in kunnen staan. Groot veld om te voetballen/volleyballen, maar zit ver bij het huis en zwembad vandaan. Het is een groot huis, maar erg verouderd. In het tuinhuis is het fijn vertoeven, maar erg harde banken en tafels die aan vervanging toe zijn. Ook binnen zijn de meubels aan vervanging toe, zitten wat kapotte stoelen aan de eettafel, wc brillen die niet vastzitten of kapot zijn. Nu vergane glorie.. Na renovatie is het een locatie waar je fijn met een grote groep vakantie kunt vieren.

Great week in Canelli!

We had a great week with our family of grantparents, parents and (grand)children. What we loved; - the space: the garden is huge and that was very pieceful. We havent seen or heard any neighbours. - the space inside was huge too and that was great! There was plenty of space for all of us and many bathrooms. So privacy for everyone while being together. - the pool is perfect! The size, shape, depth, cleanliness...we spend almost all of our time in or by the pool. - at the entrance of the property there is a small shop/bar with the nicest man, serving great lokal wines and tasty bites. - there is a washing machine! Less perfect; - some things are damaged or missing; a coffeepot, some taps have loose parts, some sunbeds are damaged as is one or two of the putside tables. - it was really hot in our week and also the house was hot. Good thing; there are fans in every room. But is was still hot and some fans didnt really do much. And: communication before we arrived was a bit poor, but once we were there it was perfect. There was something wrong with the dishwasher and immediately a technician was sent. Also my son needed a doctwr and immediately they helped me with an advice where to go We might come back some day because we had a really good week!

Et flot gammelt hus i Canelli. Fantastisk poolområde. Kun mindre detaljer manglede. Blæsere i loftet og en grill. Gode muligheder for skyggefulde steder på grunden. Der er en vinbar på området. Huset var rent og pænt.

Tolles Anwesen mit wunderschönem Pool

Die Villa ist alt, aber sehr sauber. Die hochwertige Ausführung zeugt von guten Zeiten. Das riesige Anwesen ist toll und die Einzigartigkeit kommt aus den Bildern in der Anzeige gar nicht zum Ausdruck. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 18 Personen für 1 Woche dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die meiste Zeit haben wir am Pool verbracht. Im Poolhaus gibt es eine Sommerküche. Es gab ein kommunales Problem mit der Wasserversorgung, so dass wir 2 Tage nur bedingt fließend Wasser zur Verfügung hatten. Zum Glück war der große Pool gefüllt.😉

Heaven on earth

If you are looking for sleek interior design, furnishings and equipment, this is not for you. If, on the other hand, you don't mind pots with only 2 matching lids and underpowered showers, and you do want a beautiful, spacious property with rustic charm, then this is the place for you. The grounds are huge, and enclosed, so it is very safe for younger children. It also has a brilliant pool and pool house (with toilets and shower), with tables to seat a large party (17+ of us ate there every night). We have now stayed here 3 times, and just love it. Now also with a very nice bar and shop at the entrance.

Heaven on earth, with mosquitos

Our party of 20 (4 under 10s, 4 teenagers, 12 adults) had a fabulous week at this stunning property. Cristina and the owners were extremely helpful and reactive to the smallest problem - clearing a blocked sink, and providing a kettle and more tea towels very promptly, despite a bank holiday. Rubbish is collected (and recycled) every day, and the garden maintenance was very unobtrusive, arriving very early so plants etc were watered, often before we got up. Cristina's sparkling Chardonnay wine is highly recommended, and the food she catered for us was delicious. The building is perfect for large gorups - the smallest bedrooms have individual bathrooms, but otherwise 2 bedrooms share. There is also a bathroom downstairs, and the pool house is excellently equipped with shower, toilets, and changing rooms... and wifi. Being in its own grounds makes the property very safe for small children, and the pool is also suitable for little ones, & well equipped with lilos. The property also has swings, a table tennis table, football area, boules pitch outdoors - and table football and some puzzles and games indoors. You can also walk or jog on a path round the property's grounds, partly through the woods and round the gardens. We lived at the pool house and in the kitchen - but there was plenty of space, even if we had had rain. Only drawback was the mosquitos - especially in the kitchen. Do bring strong anti-mosquito stuff. Smidge worked for me - but we also had slowburning products under the tables by the pool, and sprayed curtains, bed clothes etc to try to discourage them at night.

Wonderful venue for a group holiday

For our party of fourteen oldies and five young adults Camillina Villa was the perfect place to stay. The sun shone, the pool was inviting and the food was delicious. From the Villa there is a walk of 20 minutes or so into Canelli centre (ask for the key to the side gate to avoid a tedious stretch of road). Canelli has restaurants, bars and useful supermarkets. It’s not a big tourist town but has its share of old streets, churches and pleasant squares. Wider afield, there are interesting places to visit in the vine clad and wooded hills which are superb to walk or drive through. We also took trains into Turin (from Asti) and Genoa (from Acqui Terme). Piedmont is a big food area and eating in or out the wonderful taste of the local produce added greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday. Camillina Villa itself is a big solid house, not perhaps the most attractive of buildings from outside, but the rooms are large and the interior has character. There were plenty of bathrooms but we would have liked more kitchen equipment. We spent most of our time in the area by the pool and the pool house. The latter has an in built barbeque and long veranda which gets shade from about noon onwards. It was perfect to sit here talking, reading or taking a beer or glass of wine during the extremely hot days that were a feature of our stay. The villa is very private, set in its own gated and large grounds. It is circled by a road, so there is some road noise although this only really bothered us at the weekends when cars were returning from a late night out in Canelli. The high temperatures made sleeping sticky and brought out the mosquitoes. If you are coming in high summer, some good insect repellent and after-bite would be a wise thing to pack. The biting insects were less noticeable on the cooler days, so there is clearly a trade-off to be had. The Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss. We mentioned this to the owner but it may be a problem beyond their control. The owners and Cristina, who translates for them in excellent English, were extremely pleasant and helpful. Cristina organised a wine-tasting and meal for us early in the holiday which got the fortnight off to a splendid start. If you have a large party and want to visit an interesting but less visited area of Italy, Camillina Villa might well be the place for you. If you enjoy your trip half as much as we have ours I doubt if you will be disappointed.

Prima huis op "top"-lokatie

Ruime woning met voldoende comfort, prima zwembad met handig en gezellig pool-huis. Deel van het huis prima te huren met maximaal 12 personen. Loop afstand van Canelli. Verhuurster heel servicegericht en heeft ook eigen wijnbedrijf met mogelijkheid voor bezoek en kookcursus. Eigenaar van het pand is zeer zorgzaam en heeft te bezoeken delicatessen bedrijf. Als verwarming nodig is, is de energie ( ook vanwege de grote van het pand) duur. Waar voor je geld. Streek is uitstekend voor liefhebbers van Italiaans eten, wijn en slowfood.
