Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay in surfside. The place was clean and nice. It had plenty of pots and pans. It could use some minor updates to things. It was listed to have a Keurig, but it did not so we prepared for a Keurig. We called for maintenance once, no one to our knowledge came to check what we needed fix. Overall, nice and clean place to stay for the week.

Nice Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 6th stay at Surf Master. We choose a different condo every year and alway on the first and 2nd floor so we don't have to wait for the elevator. This year we went higher to experience the ocean from a different view. This condo was in great shape and was recently renovated. The only negative is that the kitchen was missing a lot of things we used on a day to day basis including cookie sheets, cereal/soup bowls, coffee mugs (there were only 5), pyrex dishes for casseroles and it says in the description that is has a Keurig and it doesn't. Renters should bring their own paper towel, toilet paper, ziploc bags and plastic wrap/foil. We would definitely stay here again.

The only negative was the sliding door leading from the living room to the balcony. It needs new rollers, almost through my back out trying to open it.

Fall Getaway

Area rug had to be removed by Maggie, Housekeeping Supervisor- it was wet, smelled musty. She was very prompt in coming when called about it, took care of situation and apologized. All in all, enjoyed the experience. Pool, hot tub and access to beach very good.

Unfortunately the pools were closed due to Covid but the facilities were well maintained. This condo was perfect for my family of 6. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. We added an additional nights stay at the last minute. We will def consider staying here again

The condo was very nicely decorated and very clean. My daughter and I came down for a mother/daughter weekend and loved it so much that we spent the entire day on Friday inside the condo and out on the beautiful balcony. We took some beautiful pictures on the sunrise on Friday morning. We truly hated to leave on Sunday. I would highly recommend this condo!!!

A great vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting through Garden City Realty and everyone we spoke to was kind and helpful. We will definitely rent through them again. This was also our first stay at Surf Master. We enjoyed this building and area and would stay at this property on our next visit. As for the unit, it was very clean and we loved the spaciousness. The new living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed in dishes and utensils and my family did love the large tvs. The master bedroom had plenty of room however it could use a ceiling fan. It was hot in that room even with the ac on 72 and the mattress was Extremely Firm. The one disappointment was the lack of furniture on the balcony with only a table and 2 chairs, everyone didn't have a place to sit.

Wonderful vacation! Surf Master 910

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was extremely happy with how clean and how the rental looked just like the pictures. This is my 3rd year in Surf Master, but have been coming to the area for 30 years and this unit is by far the best one I have stayed in. Extremely clean, well stocked pots, pans, plates and glasses,... everything needed for my stay. I appreciated the notification that my unit was available prior to my stay and could arrive earlier if my schedule permitted. My only issue was the beach renourishment I did not have beach access in front of the condo on Saturday or Sunday but Monday I did just had to use pathways of sand over large pipes on beach. Overall will definitely rent this unit again and suggest it to everyone!

I had to buy a air mattress to be able to sleep. Main room furniture was very uncomfortable. GCR is great...the unit was ok...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, I would likely say that working with Garden City Rental is the best possible experience for a guest. They do everything possible to make the stay as wonderful as it can be. I will always rent through GCR. Unit 910 at Surfmaster was fairly clean and conveniently located. Many items were available to the guests, including paper products, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, extra linens and towels, etc. The view was amazing and the general property was fabulous. However, there was a musty or mildew type smell that was very strong in the unit. Clearly, the owner was aware and had placed air purifiers/humidifiers inside the main rooms. The filters in these machines also smelled horribly. I am sure the property owners and managers have done all they can to make this better, but it is so pervasive that guests need to spend as much time as possible away from indoors...and that beach is the perfect place. Also, the beds weren't particularly comfortable...but the living room furniture was worse...especially the couch that makes a bed...very uncomfortable for sitting. I have stayed in many units at Surfmaster, as I visit a couple times a year. I will not likely stay in unit 910 until the source of that smell is addressed and there are updates for the furniture.
