Awesome family friendly home

Great family friendly home with lots of living space and activities such as tennis, pickle ball, ping pong, and games all on the property. My family of 10, inclusive of 4 grandchildren had an awesome time.

Great Place to Spend Time with Family

It was a great place to hangout with family members. I lot of places to plop down with a book, a lot of things to do to keep people busy - just a great time.

This was our first trip to MV (first of many). The property was a little hard to find, but locals helped us out. The property had lots of entertainment spaces for a group of 8 adults (4 couples). My only feedback was the opportunity to remove the cobwebs from the lower bedrooms and outdoor spaces (lots of spiders). Great home and we highly recommend it for larger groups. We would stay here again for sure!!!

2nd Stay at Fantastic Chappy Home!

Another great stay on Chappy! Amy is a great hostess and the home is fantastic -- we were two families, total of 10 people, and we had plenty of room! We will stay again next year!

Great for families

Perfect place to get away from it all. Easy access to local trail systems, active play options for kids (tennis, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong). Great kitchen for preparing and enjoying group meals with a great view in all directions. Enjoy your visit!

Beautiful Home on Chappy

The place was great, we loved the property and tennis court. It’s remote and quiet on Chappaquiddick. Lots of space on 3 levels of the home. Easy check in and check out.

A great get-away

The house was a wonderful place to gather with friends and family. All of our children, ages 10-16, loved the games which kept them happily occupied during downtime. The main floor was beautiful and was such a relaxing space to enjoy the spectacular view. The number of bathrooms made getting ready for the day so easy! We hope to return!

Not a lot of information

It would have been nice for someone to have the house more ready than we found it. There wasn’t any info on how to check in and when we got there it seemed stuffy and a little tired. There wasplenty of room and the beds were made nicely.

In love with Chappy!

We have vacationed on Martha's Vineyard for over 13 years but this was our first time staying on Chappaquiddick. It will not be our last. The beaches were beautiful and it felt like we had them all to ourselves. The kids had fun riding the ferry back and forth to Edgartown. The home and grounds were beautiful! We had a bit of a hard time finding it at first but that's just part of the Chappy Charm. We took full advantage of the tennis court and screened in porch with games. Hosts were very accessible and jumped to action when the freezer stopped working. Got it fixed that day. Would definitely stay again.

If you like Chappy, you'll love this place!

The top floor of this house was where we spent all our waking time when not outside - it is fabulous. It is one, very attractive, airy room with a fabulous kitchen at one end (enormous amount of marble counter space and a hugh marble center island) and a television area at the far end. In between is a living room/dining room area. That room opens out to a huge balcony ideal for outside meals (we BBQed out there most nights). It can get steamy in the middle of the island, but the mini split air conditioning kept us feeling very comfortably cool and dry on hot days. Having a tennis court was terrific for my family and guests. And at 1.5 miles to the ferry, bicycling to Edgartown was easy.

Should have stated what needed to bring . Iron , face clothes , etc. no access to complete property. House not clean In some areas. Host ask to call if need anything but not available.

Perfect House for large family reunion

Memorable stay with kids & grandkids. Beautiful sunsets from the deck; wonderful evenings around the firepit;; plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Really great Chappy experience!

Family trip

Lovely home on secluded lot with pretty views and access to gorgeous beaches. No traffic. Ideal for large family with lots to do at house like ping pong and tennis and fire pit and huge screened and unscreened porches.

Excellent house with loads of things to do

House lovely, well equipped, clean etc as the info states. Only drawback is location on island needing to take ferry each time wanting to go to rest of island. Wait times can be long and costs each time.

Excellent chappy house!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chappy property. The house was perfectly situated for our stay in Martha’s Vineyard! The tennis court was pristine . And the views from the second floor were fantastic. Very nice kitchen and bar area as well.

Perfect

It was the perfect place for me and my family. The grounds are beautiful and the home is warm and inviting. There is lots of areas to go for alone time or to be with a large group. Amy could not have been more engaging and warm to our family. Sun rise and sun sets are beautiful. The kitchen, living area and the deck was spacious enough for a party of 12 or more. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This has been terrible. The owner represented 6 air conditioned bedrooms- only 4. Poor maintenance.

Perfect house on Chappaquiddick

This house was perfect! Great location on remote Chappaquiddick and just a short ferry ride over to the main island. Amy was so responsive and helpful. This house truly lives up to the gorgeous pictures and description. Updated, clean, and fully stocked with any and everything you could even think of needing on a trip. We were a group of 10 with 4 adults and 6 children. The kids loved the freedom of the large yard and adjoining basketball and tennis courts. For reference, we are a group that typically stays at 4 and 5 star hotels - this home was all that and more. Will definitely be returning here again.

This is a great house for families with a lot of outdoor activities. Close to all beaches and Chappy ferry.

Chappy is the only place to be. Quiet and relaxing without the traffic of Edgartown. Bike to the beaches or community center. A beautiful organic farm is 1/2 mile away. We offer kayaks and paddle boards, basketball and tennis. The perfect family retreat.
