Honest review and take note
This property is very nice for group gatherings as long as the air conditioner is properly maintained. The main floor with the views, family room, kitchen & 2 BRs was brutally hot from Sunday through Thursday. While the owner and the management tried to assist, they could not address the problem. Between the phone calls and the service technicians, our stay was impacted. After contact with the owner, I was refunded 10% of the booking while 33% of the house was not usable. The second floor kitchen was suggested as the fix but it had no refrigerator and no dining space! Plus all of our groceries were on the affected floor. Very disappointing. MAINTENANCE: The metal porch furniture was rusted and looked terrible. The cushions were not maintained. The outside step railing was close to broken. The stairs treads were dangerously narrow for an older person. The air conditioning filters were beyond filthy. They had not been changed in months if not years with dust hanging out of the return. The parking is problematic. This is a community where everyone drives golf carts but one was not provided. The owners expect their guests to enjoy a house that stayed at 81 or 82 degrees for four days. The Luna moth was a plus but there are carpenter bees on the main porch for those who are allergic. PLUS: The kitchen was well organized and the beds were comfortable. The community pool was fantastic though and the sunrises were amazing. The bedrooms were cute.
