Peaceful, Perfect & Charming Farm Holiday Accommodation

This is our second stay here, and once again, we weren't disappointed. Everything we could need in accommodation, home from home. Clean, comfy, and well equipped. Stunning field views. Nothing is ever any trouble for The Osbornes. We will 100% be returning, and the 7 hour drive from Essex is worth it. So close to the beautiful coastal path and St Ives is easily accessible.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time in the well furnished property and it was appreciated that we could check in earlier than expected. Car parking for both our cars was great and we loved the welcoming scones! Our Golden Retriever enjoyed the treats and the d9g blanket that were provided and had lots of fun in the 7 acre dog exercise field. We would highly recommend staying at Trevalgan Farm.

Another lovely holiday at Trevalgan Farm

We have been going to Trevalgan Farm since 2004 and we return every year as we love the location and enjoy walking the coastal path. The cottages are.very welcoming and in a peaceful setting. The bus service is a great asset to return after the walk. Russell is an excellent host. Very friendly and helpful. We will be back again soon.

Trevalgan Farm holiday

We have been holidaying at trevalgan farm every year for 36 years normally twice a year at least and we have found it a perfect location for the area and great spot to walk from along the wonderful Cornish coast with our dogs and now trevalgan dog friendly apartments have fences which is brilliant as we can leave the door open and the dogs can pop in and out . The owners of the properties are so friendly and helpful it’s a bit like going home when we go there

Lanhydrock, Trevalgan Farm Holidays

Our second stay in Lanhydrock, Trevalgan Farm, St Ives. Absolutely superb high class accommodation set in beautiful Cornish rolling countryside but also with sea views. Spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with very welcoming, friendly, accommodating hosts who are on site. Extremely dog friendly too. We really appreciated the excellent stress free bus service to and from the site into St Ives, enabling some relaxing drive free days, but there are also lots of wonderful places to visit on days you wish to drive. St Ives is a very special place, with lots of lovely shops, beaches, cafes and restaurants. Equally special is this beautiful, well appointed accommodation with scones, jam and clotted cream greeting you on arrival. We absolutely love staying at Trevalgan Farm and are already planning our return holiday next Summer. We would not stay anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and perfectly situated near local attractions, making it ideal for exploring the area. The front yard is charming with a lovely picket fence, a table, and a bench, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Our daughter especially loved the play area behind the cottage, which had a slide and plenty of space for her to run around. The large field was also great for outdoor fun and relaxation. The owner Russell was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Great stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful week long stay in Lanhydrock cottage. Spacious family accommodation. Beautiful views over the fields to the sea (great for sunsets too!). Very quiet and peaceful location. Free parking onsite. Lovely courtyard garden with benches and wooden table for each cottage to enjoy outdoor eating/relaxing. Very friendly hosts. Easy check in and out process. Very well equipped kitchen. Everything in the cottage was in a good condition and excellent hot shower! Handy regular local bus into St Ives (bus stop only a 1 min walk away). We're looking forward to staying again.

Excellent location to explore Cornwall.

Have stayed here many times and always have a lovely experience. The accommodation is a home from home with everything you need. Always clean and bedding and towels all provided. Use of free games room for the children a great distraction and keeps them entertained and safe. Onsite use of laundry facilities and even an hourly bus service into St ives if you are not up to the beautiful coastal path walk. Customer service was great, as always. Regular contact from owner up to and including the stay to keep up informed and manage our expectations. Will be back again next year!!

Last Minute Break Away

We have just returned from a 6 day break at Trevalgan Farm, myself, my partner and our dog stayed in Lanhydrock cottage which was spacious & clean. The kitchen has every utensil you could need for a self catering break, with lots of thoughtful extras included including fresh scones on arrival! The views were amazing from the cottage and it was so quiet which made for a restful and enjoyable stay! Location was fab not far from St Ives and the surrounding area with wonderful dog friendly beaches and places to see. Didnt get to meet the owners and we didnt have any issues but throughout the booking process they gave immediate and helpful responses and were keen to assist which was nice. Definately recommend if you want a break away from the rat race! Thank you Russell & Melanie

Last min break

A last min short break so finding somewhere suitable and dog friendly wasn’t as easy as I thought, without it being expensive. This was perfect. The property slept 5, so we had a discount as it was just the 2 of us and our dog. The setting and cottage was excellent. Nice little touch of a cream tea and eggs when we arrived. The cottage had everything needed and more. Lovely extra of a public bus service right outside, that ran everyday from morning till night, into st ives. Very thoughtful to families, with gated gardens and supply of games and toys, not that we needed this, but we have grandchildren. So it was good to see. Also an amazing exercise field for dogs The owners were on hand if needed, and communication was great. We would definitely stay again.

It's a game changer

Our recent stay at the holiday flat on Trevelgan Farm was simply wonderful. The owner has recently installed a lovely picket fence around the property, which meant we could keep the door open and fully enjoy that refreshing Cornish breeze without any worries about our dog wandering off—such a thoughtful addition that really made our stay more relaxing. The flat itself was immaculate, cozy, and had everything we needed. The owner provided us with a special touch that made us feel immediately welcomed and appreciated. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot and added a personal touch that made the holiday even more memorable. St Ives has always been a favorite, but this visit was one of the best. Trevelgan Farm offers a peaceful setting that feels like a true escape, while still being just close enough to the beach and town. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a Cornish getaway, especially for dog owners looking for comfort, convenience, and that little extra something. We can’t wait to return!

Fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Trevalgan Farm, a totally positive stay (10/10) and we would definitely hope to return. No hesitation in recommending to anyone looking for a peaceful, away from it all break. We stayed in the Lanhydrock accommodation from the 3rd to 9th October, possibly a bit out of season, but nice and quiet, and we was very fortunate to have amazing warm, sunny weather. The accommodation was very well kept, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with utensils and bakeware etc, which made self catering a breeze. Also a good supply of kitchen cleaning products were provided. On our arrival a lovely Cornish cream tea awaited us, that was a nice treat after a very long car drive. Trevalgan is located not too far from St.Ives & we found it to be the perfect base for our first ever visit to Cornwall and our exploring of this amazing county. Could not fault anything, we absolutely loved our stay at Trevalgan & Cornwall

Home from home

We have stayed in Llanhydrock on several occasions, indeed twice last year. Quite simply, it has everything we need in a holiday. For us, the location is perfect and although it is next door to a well run campsite, from Llanhydrock, you'd never know it's there. There is a bus from the campsite which takes you directly into St Ives if you do not wish to drive. Alternatively, a brisk walk across the fields brings you directly into the town. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious and light. There is a small utility room alongside the cottages with a few games, books and beach toys if needed. The views from the windows look across the fields to the sea and to the rear of Llanhydrock is a small garden/play area from which we witnessed some cracking sunsets. Your hosts, previously Jean and Melville, now their family, Russell and Melanie are excellent hosts and on hand in the unlikely event of a problem. We love it here!

Made up of 113 acres, Trevalgan Farm has been in the Osborne family for around 60 years, we are the third generation to live on and farm the land. In 1980 some of the traditional granite farm buildings were tastefully converted in to the wonderful holiday accommodation available to you today.

Up until 1982, it was run as a dairy enterprise – some of our original guests still remember coming up to the farmhouse to collect their cans of fresh milk each morning!

We are passionate about the importance of buying local and eating high-quality, ethically produced food. It has become increasingly difficult for small, family farms such as ours to remain financially viable. Farmers need and appreciate your support to keep our beautiful landscape the way it is for everyone to enjoy. Therefore we urge you to buy local and British whenever possible.

Being in a fabulous position, just 2 miles from St. Ives, with the stunning views and numerous footpaths it was a no brainer for our grandparents to settle here. We are very privilidged to be able to carry on the family business.
